Quite reverse IMO, it's children and immatures who sees possibility to show who's bigger playing games sees this as failure, for "normal" player, who just want to play to relax, it is great change.
I don't play to compete, I play to rest from competing, I have enough competing and hardcore after all day long in real life.
If you don't have real life or it is not exiting enough, it's a pity but still, as it was told numerous times in this topic, it's and option, set the public party with FFA options and gather you-a-like, what the problem?
Ohhhh, there will no easy ninja'ing on weaker players... :D You wanted to be competitive, be competitive ;)

I for one am glad you are giving people the choice!
The way I see it the only players who are getting punished by these changes are the ninjas, because they are forced to play with other ninjas. While I do understand their frustration I believe these changes will attract a broader playerbase which I ultimately see as a good thing. Keep up the good work!

b) you're just another ninja upset that in order for you to continue ninja looting, you will have to join a party of ninjas.
Was something in the currently most prevalent map group descriptions (M2M FFA) too confusing? Do you think people were joining these expecting that FFA means only they will be able to ninja? I don't get this, I think it's pretty clear that everyone who joins such a group has the same chances? As long as they're willing to play the loot metagame of course, instead of just sitting back and waiting for everything to magically appear in their inventories.
You know what happened in FFA parties of old? 3-4 ppl crowding around a named item that the named player didn't notice. So just 2 ppl were actually killing mobs etc. With this loot tension, you get ppl charging for their items and the killing stops, even when there is a huge pack of mobs. Eg how many times I see my item on the ground but its not safe to loot because there are tuns of mobs around. Then I end up losing that item because someone else picks it up after the timer expire.
This new system is great because now we can just clear mobs quick and loot our shit after. Plus it makes that possibility of auto looting bots like in D2, no longer possible.

But seriously, from what I understand, this means that if a white map drops in a group game then it is allocated to the maker but if a blue, yellow, or unique map drops it follows the regular allocation system? That just doesn't make sense to me. Map to maker should just mean map to maker. Correct me if I am understanding this wrong though.
We initially had it as "All Maps to Maker" but that took away all hope of getting Maps for the other players. Most of the Maps go to the maker under the new system.
I really like only white maps go to creator, i am one of the ppl who dont play public because i could never get a map, so now i can at least get some, and this way make it more fair to all.
Good Ideas GGG, you guys each day make this game even better.

Great example of the dynamic gameplay with battlefield conditions actually changing and a risk/reward system I was talking about in a previous post, thanks. How is this not more fun and engaging than just standing and waiting for the screen to be cleared?
