The loot system is nearly perfect.
It's a game about a RPG experience it should never overglorfiy trading. There is a trade channel in game, and trade forums, there is no need for an auction house and it totally trivializes killing mobs for gear, and makes botting/3rd party sites more efficient which makes them more profitable which makes more of them. Casuals please stop, NO AH. Go play AH3. People want to trade their garbage and make a ton of easy currency, and want to be able to automate it with an auction house, disgusting. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

I join a party for my first time in a week for a change of pace. 10 minutes into it one of the people in the group doing nothing but focusing on items snags a unique that dropped to me, unfortunately I was busy fighting unlike him.
All the system does is reward people who don't contribute to the fight and focus on ninja'ing. back to solo.. its quicker Experience anyhow. |

" You are clueless right? Right now players sell their craps for more currencies caused there is no valid way to check competition... This trading system is far worse than ah As for near perfect looting... Perfect and ffa can't exist in the same sentence... FFA is just a click festival loot Can you get a clue please? When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself

" Not sure why this thread has turned into an AH debate but... An AH surely does make trading easier, and that ease ensures that an AH would become the standard place for players to buy and sell their gear. The problem is that once all the items in the game are funneled into the same place, centralized and indexed, suddenly you make it very easy for a relatively few players to "day trade" their way to success and even control the market as more wealth = more buying power = more influence. At that point, your average player's experience can become negatively affected by people who may not even play the game at all, because - as TheSwampDog said: " Even Jay Wilson has publicly said that the AH hurt D3, and I think it's safe to say that GGG didn't need the admission to rule one out for their own game. The current 'system' is not ideal, to be sure, but an AH is not the answer. |

" ....No such thing as ninjas. You kill and pick up loot. Its simple. The game rewards people who understand that simple game play logic. Its FFA not snuggle and pamper. Also, prove that the item the dropped as for you. Last edited by Vooodu#7002 on Apr 6, 2013, 4:18:13 PM

" you might have trouble comprehending this.. with all the goofy propaganda you spew in here.. but the game is designed so it drops a piece a loot to a player, its highlighted to them and dulled to everyone else.. If you don't consider that dropping to a specific player then you are just being an idiot about it. If that player doesn't get to it in a second or so it becomes open to everyone because people on here (like 5 people.. but they post about 1000 posts a month) have complained that if you provide more time for people actually engaging the bosses etc that it will slow down the pace of public parties. |

" The only person having trouble comprehending anything is you. How do you know that drop was for you? There is no name, you just assumed it was for you. Not everythng that drops has a timer. But, you just assume that some drop was yours and then bitch about not getting it.. And whine all the way back to single player. They removed the names for a reason and you stil have trouble comprehending this? You have a chance at everything that drops. Get this 'dropping to a specific player' out of you head and accept it as a 'chance' for drops. Or, sit in single player like a whine about ninjas on the forum. ....lol Last edited by Vooodu#7002 on Apr 6, 2013, 5:19:07 PM
