For the Love of GOD !!!!!!! Please give us a god dammed Vending shop

A trade system where a player can put up an item for sale, go on holiday and come back and it has been sold is objectively terrible.

Here is my example: Diablo 3 Auction House.

I do not have to explain this, it is self evident.

no is not, diablo 3 AH failed miserably due to the introduction of gold as a currency wich result in hordes of botters and profit seeker sellig items to people that whanted to advance faster by paying real $$$.

so please get this, poe is not diablo 3, is not seeking a profit with the AH and as such is not putting real money as a way of payment so please stop thinking that and realise that the AH is a real need in this game for all those that cant spend 10 hours per day looking the trade chat to buy/sell something.

Why are you making lame comparisons to a failed system auction house?

POE DOES NOT HAVE GOLD.

IT has high value crafting items which are being used as currency. The items themselves are a sink to the currency , because they are consumed, used up frequently.
@InfernalDemon

Delete your characters , account and start fresh, and tell me you can trade with ease and without hassle to reach your prior level of riches.

For people not blessed with RNG Gods they have to rely on trade to get by and survive in this game .

Do you even know that trade channels are instanced ?

1.The core appeal of POE is its intricate gear system with a varied mods immeasurable variety of mods on gears due to the RNG.
5. Step 1 problem is 95% of gears are crap due to the RNG and hence people are forced to trade.

Ha ha, you think that is the problem? At least some gear drops that IS good. POE is a (very competent, and fun,) D2 clone (with some great new ideas.)

It pretty much inherited that issue, which has been more or less true with all Dungeon Crawlers, at least since their transition from rogue-likes.

I love D3, I love POE, I am currently playing both, but if you want to see a dungeon-crawler system that virtually never rewards its players with good dropped gear, play D3 in anything above the base difficulty. I have been playing a character in post-level-cap game modes for over 200 hours and have found ONE upgrade for him.
why are very high leveled people quitting?

quitting cause of crafting

So you lost your fortune in crafting , you can always make it back right?

WRONG , If you only know the monumental, Grieving, Time consuming, Mind f king effort which is involved in the fail trading system , you could understand his pain.

at his level he probably has lot of decent stuff to sell. But the months it would take for him to acquire back his prior state of wealth through agonizing mind numbing failure of trade system just kills it.

Why am I so poor?
why are players like these ( i can assure you there are a lot of them ) feeling they are poor?

even though they high level characters which are able to farm, Its because most of the decent stuff they possess they are not able to sell due to the fail trade system. Unless you have stuff worth in exalts to sell you are pretty much screwed over.

If I heard it right, it's not just some board to let you see what others are offering. I mean I can actually EXCHANGE it with you via the website, without logging in at all.

The impression I'm getting is that it's not automated. I imagine it's somewhat like how most games handle friend lists: I make the request to you, when you get in, you see it and can confirm, then the change happens.

Not sure poe.xyz.iz can do that. I imagine I still have to wait for you to get online with me and meet together.

I am not sure if you realize how Absolutely Ridiculous that sounds? If have to wait to get online to meet people to trade you can just as well log into the game and do just that.
why the hell do you need a website to do it? You are still waiting to meet up people to finish the trade.

What godforsaken purpose does that solve when you can already do that in game?

just the dam listing and sorting of items to view as convenience? poe.xyz.iz does that already.

You misread. I'll restate

I'm saying poe.xyz.iz is just a place to show what is being sold. You still have to go online and find the person to make the trade.

Meanwhile the web-based trading GGG plans to put, if I'm reading it right, will allow trading via the web WITHOUT both people being online at the same time. I go online, see the item, make the offer. You go online later, confirm the offer. Trade is made. No need to log into the game. No need to wait for both to be online like you do with what we have now.

Understood?
There's a fraction of players who like consistency and predictability: killing boss X will yield item Y.

This game really isn't for people like that.

This game is for people who'll do the same area over and again because they know..., a Mirror can drop anywhere, anytime. - CharanJaydemyr
the way you are interpreting it , leaves a huge scope for all kinds of ugly, its a mishap waiting to happen... Ive Seen similar systems and let me tell you there is waaaay to much margin for abuse , and errors.
