[1.0.5] Lightning Strike Staff Crit Templar Build - 17k+ DPS - Dual Curse

Got my Alpha's Howl and now I can run all 6 auras even with Kaoms :)

Hi,

Under the leveling guide, all the passive point links open empty (no nodes) for me except for the level 90 one, which shows the nodes correctly.

Anyone else having this issue, or any ideas?

I'm going to be making a templar today and will be trying to model it into this build. Wish me luck! Do you have any tips as to where I can farm within each act, and when I should do it? I haven't even made it through normal mode yet, I joined the game pretty recently.

Could you do passive tree without staff, but with shield and mace? :)

You shouldn't really need to farm until Cruel A3. City of Sarn and then Docks are the best places to farm there. You shouldn't need to spend too much time there and should progress when you feel you can. In Merciless you should farm Ledge in A1, Fellshrine Ruins in A2, City of Sarn then Docks in A3. I like to try and stay ~2 lvls above the zone I'm in, however it's not necessary if you feel you can progress safely.

A 1h+Shield build is extremely different than this build and you would want to make it in a very different way.

can you tell me if that weapon is somewhat suitable for lightning strike builds?

im trying to sell it actualy but i get hate spam like "noob 5 ex at most its inferior to marohi you got area effect build in!"
which makes totaly no sence even when i tell them how lightning strike works :)
just wanted to ask someone that actualy knows alot about LS :)

It's definitely nice but not the best. You should be able to sell it for a good amount since its 6Ld. I don't know the exact price though.

Looks like a sick build.Im making a character now to give it a go.Looked through my stash and found this puppy 60 jewels and 25 fusings is all it took to 5 link it WooT! Not as nice as yours obviously but it should be good enough yes?

I have this one im currently using for my leap slam mara Can you tell me if its still possible to roll lightning on it?
