Why would anyone play legacy of phrecia for longer than lvl 80?

because its still better than playing poe2

Some of the new ascendancies look like they could have monster endgame potential.

If you are not having fun, it would be silly to play to level 80.

i would argue if you need an excuse to play the game, you dont really enjoy it that much after all.

I don't care AT ALL about the rewards, I have like 50+ sets from supporter packs. I'm still going to play the heck out of the event because it is not voided. I'm already balancing 9 Kingsmarch ships, so what's 3 more lol. I've done 6 characters in Settlers, 2 in Necro Settlers, and 1 in Pohx's league... another Settler's based thing with FAR more build options is just a huge win for me right now.

I don't know why anyone would play poe1 even to lvl 80. Oh wait, they aren't and won't.
