also that trash sure does have legs, like 2 is still doubling and tripling up on D4's twitch viewers with D4 being a week and a half or so into a new league and POE2 being well into month 2. And thats without Mathil who I'm currently enjoying doing one of his occasional bouldering focused streams good times..
Just saying popularity of viewers doesn't really prove anything but it is interesting that a lot people people seem to want to watch "trash" than the competition.
GGG has to be pinching themselves what with the core POE1 zoomers who dislike POE2 not adding to POE2's numbers, strongly suggesting that they're a niche audience.

Its interesting but you just implied Parandus is one of the only things you've liked about POE1 but I have to post in POE2 forums because I criticize the dumb things about POE1 I don't like or have a positive take on POE2 and how it seems to have a much wider audience than POE1 ever did?
Not that it matters but this personal line in the sand you have is amusingly arbitrary.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.

I don't consider it an "arbitrary line" between discussing game A in game A's forums and praising game B while trash talking game A in game A's forums. The latter is childish behavior that you and a few other commonplace trolls here frequently engage in.
But feel free to justify your behavior any way you want.

Sore spot? Far from it, you do know what the word amusing means right? I would say someone who needs to throw around insults like "trolls" and "childish" is the one being emotional.
I just wanted to explore your seeming view that you get to criticize POE1 but I don't according to some still unstated arbitrary criteria. Fortunately I am not subject to the amusing "for thee, but not for me" rules you're making up. I play both games and have opinions on both Just like you.
