You already are. The trick is getting others to follow.

Well, I would think my outlook would be fairly representative of people that like ARPG's; after all, outside of leveling and gearing, what else is there? The combat I suppose, but I would wager that some people don't even really care about that in and of itself, but rather see it as a means to an end. Though to be honest I have horrible luck with gear and currency drops, so for me it certainly isn't the pellets being dispensed that is keeping me pushing the buttons so much as it me having an obsession with possibilities. Games like this, Guild Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics, any game where there are many different ways to build a character, I obsess over the possibilities; I imagine many other people that come here and complain perhaps have no other investment outside of the pellets though.

The reasons outlined here are why I play less and less. Just sayin'. Can't agree more with everything that's been said.

too bad that nothing will change.
these principles are being discussed on arpg forums for years and you can't tell me that nobody from GGG ever heard of it.

I'm pretty sure they've heard of them as well but I think with recent changes it's been overlooked and the adjustments into OB didn't really make up the difference. Adding higher rolls when the previous highest were already difficult to find won't help mid game struggles.

I assume it's an oversight I just hope they don't take too long to correct it.
Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th

True.

Okay, we've come to some kind of consensus, at least on this subforum. Nobody is really debating us... BUMP.
