Hardcore- Global death announcements

So i added this in another thread of mine, but a few people told me it should have it's own post.
The Idea is basically player X has been (flavorful death text) by monster X. So "DarkNRG has been Iced by Merviel", or something of the like. Again I want to stress what an amazing job GGG is doing with this game. No longer do i have to play an awesome ARPG with sprite graphics. This is my new D2. Much <3 Now presenting! Venom ink; malice in the pen, poison on the paper, anger in the mind.

I can picture this being a microtransaction, actually: have an "announce character deaths to party/friends/league" (in order of expense) checkbox.

No, I'd make it pay-to-enable-view. So what you're getting is not your own death announcement, but a means of seeing everyone else's. I love the idea of funky wording too.
Some of them could be really nifty injokes. I'll add a few ideas... Charan has been Hailraked. Charan got a little too personal with a Carnal Ape. Charan discovered that two legs good, eight legs VERY BAD. Charan now dwells in the deep. Charan discovered that the Captain's grave isn't Fair at all. Charan blinked at the wrong time. Charan now knows that False Gods can still bring True Death. Charan was slain by idle chatter. Charan had brains after all; unfortunately, only the zombies wanted them. Charan fought the Rhoa, and the Rhoa won. ...oh, I could go on... https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

This is actually a really cool idea. It could also note the character's level. If a level 60 character died, I'd shed a tear for him or her. The chat would probably be followed by 100 'rip' messages, making the player feel better. =)
This also makes me think of Hunger Games... IGN: Royal_Princess, Princess_of_Wraeclast, Vaal_Princess, Diamond_Princess

It would definitely add some flavor to dying in HC, for the player and all online at the time.
