Funny everyone's chancing Kaom's now. :) Been at it myself:

Obviously I update this without having to post it normally, but I thought I'd throw it up for curiosity's sake. ;D

as I have the same question about ilvl mattering for uniques ? .... what ilvl was the Glorious Plate u guys started rolling .... and did that value change after u were successful ?

ItemLevel doesn't matter for the stats on uniques, since they don't have different mods that can be rolled depending on it.

But it matters for socket slots (for the items that can have some)
- Rings/Amulets/Belt: any iLevel is fine
- 1H Weapons/Shields: Not sure if there is a minimum iLevel to get 3L but I don't believe so
- Boots/Gloves/Helm: An ItemLevel around 20-25 should be the minimum for a 4L
- Chest/2H Weapons: I believe you need an ItemLevel above 50 to get 6 sockets

And, obviously, Kaom's has no sockets so it so ItemLevel doesn't matter (and even if it did, Glorious Plate can only be 68+ so it still wouldn't matter)
