Rogue Harbor Texture and UI Flickering from certain MTX
" With GTX 660 2GB vram my game was utilising 1.9 GB max. It's 2024. Time to buy rtx 3060 at least. October 25th, 2016 The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti was a mid-range graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on October 25th, 2016. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the GP107 graphics processor, in its GP107-400-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. " Sure but I literally can't buy one. I simply can't afford a new pc so all I can do is hope they fix this town lol
""I can't afford hardware, it is GGG's job adjust their game to my needs". Do you realize how absurd you sound? If you're below PS4 specs in 2024 that's entirely on you.
Nope, it's on the devs to properly optimize a game. That's a simple fact. Again, all I can do is keep reminding GGG that this town is flawed. So many players can't enjoy Heist because of this.
We need a "turn off mtx on other players option" , or just give us all heist npcs in hideout already. You can't blame players when the game itself is breaking and is horribly optimized, not to mention all the random crashes sometimes in a new league.
"No. You can't stagnate and cripple your game because some people refuse or can't upgrade their ancient DDR3 machines.
Still waiting for this town to be made solo so players can actually enjoy Heist again. Hopefully in 3.26 that happens, and if not then oh well Imma just ignore Heist and block it on my atlas as always. Would be sad, because I would spend tens of hours in that league mechanic if I could. All they'd need to do is allow players to do heisting in hideout, make the town a solo instance, or just let us disable mtx on other players. One of those 3 things. The town is at a perfect 60 fps if you go in an ssf league with nobody there, no texture flickering no nothing. Almost as if the game was never meant to have so many players in one spot there. Because it was actually solo for a time when it came out, then they changed it to a multiplayer town for who knows what reason.
It's not anyone's hardware when the game runs at 60 fps for them but only dies in a town full of 400 mtx lol, also people with wayyyy better pcs than mine have complained about this town. This game just magically runs better on some setups while randomly being horrible on others. It's completely random. But hey all I can do is keep re-bumping this post until GGG decide to fix Heist.
"Yes, it absolutely is.
" Could you please stop bullying and harassing me? I can't afford a new PC. So the only thing I can do is ask for GGG to fix this town. Many other players are in the same position as me. No point in commenting here again and again if you don't think this is an issue with the game. Last edited by Toforto on Oct 31, 2024, 11:44:55 AM

"Participation in public discussions is not harassment, just saying. On topic: Heist released 4 years ago. It had issues which led to Rogue Harbor being a solo instance at some point - those issues got fixed and eventually they made it a public town again. If it was still broken they would have fixed it by now. Everything else is on the player, you can't expect GGG to accommodate 8+ year old hardware without holding the game back. That's not how continuous software development works.
" No, the problem is with the town and the mtx spam. That's a simple objective fact. Me and many other players literally have no other choice but to wait for GGG to fix this or just ignore Heist. This is bad for the game because less players and less playtime. All I have to do is wait, its inevitable that this town will get fixed or will be made solo permanently. |
