Rogue Harbor Texture and UI Flickering from certain MTX

To diagnose this problem, in order to exclude the involvement of any other components, you can try to run poe with any other video card. I wonder what the result will be.

You shouldn't need a next-gen graphics card to run such an old game like poe. Towns are always laggy, you could have a nasa supercomputer and rogue harbor could still flicker like that and drop fps. The game itself is lagging, not the pc. It's a bug with some specific mtx, which is why we just need a disable mtx on all other players option added, or all the heist npcs in hideout. It's that simple. I also don't have any other pcs nor video cards to try this game on lol

Nope I just have an nvidia gtx 1050ti, and like I've said the rest of the game runs just fine. I just can't enjoy heist because they refuse to make this town solo, don't really care though.
You can't run Heist because the moment another player enters your screen, you GPU is saturated. It's an 8 (!) year old piece of hardware with just 4GB of VRAM - I'm assuming your "somewhat recent" Intel CPU is about the same age. Either way, that PC is weaker than a PS4.

This is not a PoE issue, you are literally trying to play this game on a toaster, expecting good results.

PoE is an old game but it is frequently updated and utilized modern tech. Your hardware is simply lagging behind at this point.

It is literally your GPU just having 4GB of VRAM in 2024..
So, I tried the Vulkan for the first time since buying 2060 super.
Jugged up with all of kind heavy effects and particles mtx.
Loaded into Rogue Harbour.
At the beginning, my drive was loading shaders - that caused 70 FPS avg.
Now it's 90-110 and utilises 5.5 GB !!!!!! VRAM !!!!!!
I understand that there is people from countries like Brasil, where PC upgrades strike the budget very high, can't blame them.
Also in the same time, we can't blame Devs from GGG for improving graphics in the 14 years old game (tbh first builds started back in 2006). They need to compete with current ARPGs on the market.
P.S. I strongly recommend you to hop into win 11 and DirectX 12 renderer.
Good luck and bless you with high FPS gaming :)

This game doesn't ever take more than 2 GB of vram, that's not the problem. The mtx spam is the problem.

It absolutely does. Respectfully, you don't know what you're talking about and see problems where under normal circumstances there are none.

Your PC is too weak. It's not a mtx problem. Period.

Had you seen my post? My game with VULKAN renderer utilises 5.5GB VRAM

Yeah I use the same renderer and it takes 2 gb of vram no matter where I am. The only time it ever went up to 2.4 was in Kingsmarch probably because of newer graphics there.

Nope, I have 60 fps in all other content. It's the mtx. And I will keep re-bumping this post until GGG decide to fix Heist. Because right now its impossible to enjoy for so many players.
