Short update as its been posted that Steam may be down due to maintenance ...or at least some of it is.

Still able to play another game via steam w/ no issues....but there have been at least 3K complaints that steam was down on 'Downdetector' webpage.

Also Steam says 'validating' when it 'downloads' the file.

Hopefully this is just bad timing on GGG's part by doing this update right when Steam does its weekly / Tuesday server maintenance.

Same issue here. Keeps downloading in steam and then getting the error once POE opens.
