Wont patch

So i tried to let my game update to the new patch today...and after it does so i get the warning when i try to log in i get a message similar to'please update POE to the new patch and restart'.
I try and update through steam itself and get the same response....cant log in w/ the new patch. Steam always downloads the file but i cant get in. Restarted my machine + steam....didnt help/ On a Windows 11 system w/ steam. Last bumped on Apr 23, 2024, 7:19:56 PM

Im also stuck at validating over and over, it takes like 5 minutes per try and keeps saying it's not updated.

Same issue. Tried logging out and back in to steam but no dice. Need to reinstall client maybe?
