High DPS 1-Hand Lightning Strike/Multistrike 3 Aura Tank Duelist Guide by Ler [1.1.0]

Im playing kind of same build, with some differences, i play with x2 enduring charges istead of innerforce +1 from oak, for have more surv, starting as marauder with more life nodes.

using ls,bm,ll,wed,fa,ms 11.5k dps with 3 frenzy from bloodrage
I was in doubt between innerforce or more life or endurance charges, but after a bit of playing i realized i can die just buy a huge phys dmg spike, or from lightning thorns, so i chose to go for directly 8% phys dmg reduction. improved grace+det.. wasnt even close.
I play with alpha+covenant for 7 auras, running hatred,det,purity,haste,anger,grace,wrath.
got 5.6k hp and 50% chaos ress, now i dropped a bit of life and chaos res for fix dex for a new foil weap i bought.

Compared to a ci ls build i like this one a lot of more as playstyle,but imo enduring charges are a must.. dropping innerforce is totally worth, is just a little less of dps for more surv.
Is the +40 base Life from helping normal Oak realy more important then 1 passive skill point?

Yes, because it isn't just 40 hp. it's 40hp x 230% or w/e % hp you have from passives.

i wanna share with u guys my thoughts about this build in high lvl maps 75+, since is what i'm doing.
With the foil i linked before i was sit @ 10.3k, i bough the new soultaker axe and removed bloodmagic from my 6l


in comparsion this axe with 341 dps vs my foil @2.13 speed and 338dps made me go down to 9980 dps, ofc i got the axe for remplace bm gem with melee phys, like that i reach like 13.7k dps.
Basically for how the build is, that dps for us without the soultaker will require a 400+dps 1h, so i suggest u to get one, losing bm means also u ll gain about 200/300 hps in a 6l, based on ur old weap atk speed.

I'm not getting innerforce, because i use that 5 points i need to reach it,
2 points for get berserking
3 points for get marauder starter armors nodes.
I think like that they give me more dmg, and more surv compared to new innerforce.
I'm also running vitaly over haste, my dps is still rly higher then with the foil.
I'll try to get an endurance charge as the last thing when i ll reach lv90, sitting with 5 endurance up.

Im running with 5.6k hp, 17k armor, 47% chaos res, 81% allres, and as all you ll see in maps lightning thorns are our hardest counter, but also high phy dmg does, i risked to die a couple of time due to it in highest lvl map, thats the reason e decided to get a bit more armor nodes, and drop haste.
I'm using this build atm in onslaught and it's very solid :)
My problem is now to decide to get inner force or not. Are the armour nodes better than buffing grace + determination with the inner force skill? My initial plan was to get inner force and then go for conduit.

i'm 87 right now, and i got enought ress to drop 12% nodes x2, i'll have to fix 60 int on gear for free other 2 skill points.

To me the 5pts for innerforce aren't worth it, compared to the 3 armors node on marauder start, and other 2 for berserking or another endurance charge.. based on what are you looking for.

buffed determination and grace, will give u less armor them 43% increased armor staccked with noinnerforce det.

as for the dmg, +15% from berserking i think can give u more dmg then buffed hatred anger and wrath.

im at 12k dps with no haste or berserking, was about at 14k with them, but i c totally no difference in clear speed, and i like having more surv for sure.

Around level 40 I'm finding the going gets tougher and slows down quite a bit. I cruised through normal with this build, stayed at Ledge until 40, and now stuff in Act 2 is difficult. Not necessarily hurting me, but I'm not plowing through stuff anymore. Lightning Strike seems a bit hit or miss, and actually double strike clears mobs faster. Any tips on how to get over this hump? Farm Ledge/Fellshrine? Group up? Get to Sarn quick as possible? Thanks!
