Collected Ideas for Microtransactions

A shark Pet with a laser beam attached to it's forehead? Always wanted one of those.

Bumping due to everyone's great ideas and I don't think we need another.

In regards to pets
-cosmetic items for pets (people will prob pay for that)
-platformer game using your pets, or possibly a top down gauntlet style game...also make this available for download to your smartphone :)

Must say that I am all for this thread but that I do not like the idea of "fun" visuals.
The game is gritty I feel like it would break the immersion if I could make my wand a purple dildo and summon an army of skeletons wearing bikinis ;)

However having all my skeletons be golems instead. Have my ice spells be red. Having an aura around my char etc. That I am all for.

Weather+Holiday Themes

Its summer outside I want to be dazzled by the sun flashes in the game now and then.
Its winter outside I want snow and blizzards in the game.
I live in UK I want rain in the game all the time :)
I live at the top of Norway or Finnland I want night in the game and occasional aurora borealis.

Or even more complicated - Your game weather conditions reflect exactly the conditions from your local weather forecast.
Where "local" can be done on several levels: Continent/Country/County/City/Custom*

*Custom = Have an ingame UI for selecting what weather conditions I want to have in my game.
Rain ON OFF
Snow ON OFF
Snow according local county conditions ON OFF
Night ON OFF
Day/Night according to local time ON OFF
...

Town+NPCs customizations
Industrial theme: town is cowered in smoke and all you hear a lot of astmathic caughs and NPCs greets you differently ("most honors to the labor my good association" ...)

Heaven theme: town is in constant glance all the NPCs have halos a random angel with a flaming sword flies through the town now and then and you hear angelic choir music and NPCs greets you differently ("blessings to you my brother/sister" ...)

Finnish Sauna theme: steam goes from the ground, fireplace is replaced by the heating stones scone and bucket of water, Nessa has a special item in the talk menu "add more heat" when you trigger that she goes to the stones and pores more water on the stones to get more steam and appropriate steam animation and sound is released, all the NPCs are dressed in towels and greets you differently ("Aren't you hot in that suit of armour?" ...)

I'm afraid those things won't sit well with the developers.

The weather is pretty much unseperable from the art of the individual areas, that's the reason that there are no weather changes, and not even a rotateable camera.

And if I had to guess, then I would bet that heavy thematic changes that distort what the story tries to tell will not be considered.

This thread deserves more great ideas :P.

Burrowing owl.

I just want pants for my templar.

pets with customizable clothes will be cool.


For example, you can buy for 30 points easy pet like the cheapest kiwi.

and for more points you can add diffirent features to it. (feathers, glowing effects, spurs, ribbons, fire trail, sounds and so on)
