PC hard locks extremely rarely

I myself had this issue. Pulled my hair out trying to find out a solution. At least for myself this does not happen to me anymore since disabling freesync. Before it would just hard lock (would only hear audio, only thing I could do what press my computer power button to reset the system) now I haven't tried any workarounds to get freesync working with peo without the random system freeze but might try it when I have time to screw around. Just thought I'd add this here just incase this fixes it for somebody in here.

I too am having this very same issue. It's been going on for about a year I guess. It's completely random, one day I had to do it twice in 3 hours and sometimes it'll be a couple weeks but on average it's about once a week if I play the game a lot.
Windows 11, 3080ti, 32 GB ram
