[OLD] Map Management Resource
" Cool, glad you guys took my thoughts to heart. Now about that Reef map... :P Anyway, I'll weigh in on no regen vs half regen topic. Personally, no regen is much easier for my character who has 1% life regen, 7% life leech gem and 3% mana leech attached to a Freezing Pulse. As you can see, a lot of my sustainability comes from leech, which is unaffected by no regen, while half regen is a PITA because if I'm not hitting at least 2 or 3 targets, then I'm losing mana per cast, while at the same time it hurts my survivability from only gaining 50% of my life leech back. On the other hand, no regen is impossible for a caster without leech, and half regen is a serious annoyance that is just barely doable with a lot of downtime. Then we have Lightning Arrow and LGoH Blood Magic friends who laugh at all these mods. Half regen does nothing to them, except maybe on their single target Life Leech, while no regen is a little more challenging because they don't have their usual 3% or so life/second they are accustomed to. So, in summary: Heavy leech based builds can do no regen much easier, while regen builds probably want to avoid both, but at least they can do half regen. Blood Magic doesn't care either way, with no regen being slightly more difficult. Both still give amazing quantity, it just depends on what build you are using. The value/difficulty of each mod is heavily dependant on your method of sustain. Maybe you could include that in the description of these 2 mods as a disclaimer or something? As for rating, they're both 5 stars in my book. I think every build should have a plan for these mods because they bring the best quantity bonus in the game by a landslide. Great guide!
My only suggestion is to put in stars next to each map affix so that color-blind people like me can read it! It will also help people with normal color vision from having to refer to the key since the stars are self explanatory. |

Thanks for the informative write up.
Arsenal map works well with the two bosses affix --> two bosses become four. |

" I think you mean arcade here - double boss = x4 curtains - yay On the other hand, a map which does not work well with double boss is ghetto (with additional damage mods) - avoid this mod at all costs if you don't have much armour...... .....i can testify that it is a quick way to find yourself staring at the resurrect button in disbelief...lol (slamdancer & lyralei were standing there wondering what happened too) Since OB, i have come across SO many casualties to the ghetto (and was complacent enough to think that it could never happen to me)....you really have to watch your wallet if you wanna go there!
