Following up on Recent Feedback

pls re-examine the price of the white socket harvest craft. even if i play all league long, my calculations show i will never get enough lifeforce for it.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Dude, look me in the eye and tell me with a straight face that the ability to craft 10% Chance to Avoid Being Shocked on a jewel was too powerful if not gated behind rarity. -.-

Everything except Harvest sounds good.

Harvest is all but worthless in it's current state. Additionally, crafting is gated behind Sacred Crystallized Life Force. If this isn't enough for you here are some other possible ideas:

1) In addition to Lifeforce, require associated currencies for specific crafts.

For example, to use "Remove a non-critical modifier and then add a critical modifier" require an Annulment Orb, Exalted Orb, Sacred Lifeforce, and Vivid Lifeforce.
This would stabilize the market for valuable currencies, and also add a much needed "sink" for underused base currencies such as Chaos and Alteration orbs. This change would further limit the crafting "power players" could engage in while still allowing normal players intermittent access.
If your calculous says "Top level players have access to unlimited currency therefore we can't give them anything good to use it on." then rethink your opinion because it makes no sense.

2) Create a separate un-tradable consumable, or simply make Sacred Lifeforce un-tradeable.

3) Remove Harvest completely and address crafting and off-the-ground items from another angle.

This change was marketed as solving the problem of players being forced on to 3rd party web sites to make risky trades. But now the argument has clearly shifted to "Harvest crafts were too valuable". Perhaps the argument is "Harvest was too valuable because players were trading the craft even though we didn't want them to"? Please be clear with us what your design goals are here. If you (not Bex, the dev team) believe powerful crafting is bad in a game where all currencies are designed around crafting then you are effectively saying all base trade currencies in PoE should inherently be worthless. Needless to say this would be a problem...

I really hope there is a re-thinking of what end game crafting and itemization should look like.

Eldritch currency is the right approach to reforge keep prefixes.

If those crafts are returned we all know what will happen - lifeforce of that type will become so expensive that all other crafts with that lifeforce become a waste. Just like slamming was a waste last league.

There needs to be a better return on investing in maps. The juice doesn't feel worth the squeeze atm and that has an economic impact as well on the market. I would like to feel my rewards scale better with my investment in MF and map components.

Kalandra would be better to me if i knew the reward potential for what i'm placing on the tiles. Am i getting scarabs, deli, armor scraps? Would like to know what chest i'm spawning on that tile.

My main takeaway after all this is not the play the first 2 weeks of any league moving forward.

I appreciate that changes do get made eventually.
About Harvest...

Not nice!

Ok about "Reforge keep pref/suf", I understand and my suggestion would be to move these 2 crafts to Bestiary. That way Bestiary could become target farmed again and provide some variety/flexibility on the crafting methods.

But about other crafts like the "Reforge colours", or the "Reroll values", or the "Reforge rare with much more common values", they can be gated behind the cost, no?

Personally, I don't mind them being expensive and farm lifeforce, since I know that the crafting tries will be feeling good and right now they're not.

Please reconsider about them.

FFT: If cannot be done then, please decrease the cost of the "Reforge rare" to at least half. Every push of the button feels bad with this kind of RNG.

You are ok with people buying a MF Culler on a 3rd party website but the moment you make harvest tradeable ingame its to strong even though players where selling Harvest for leagues now on 3rd party sites hahahahahahahah.

Harvest is still so powerful that every endgame player has to learn it and bookmark poedb to check tags.

This is not true of other, far weaker crafting systems like essences and fossils and Alva's corruption chamber.

So much character power is gated behind Harvest still.
