What Happened with Items

Normally I roll my maps for 26% pack of higher and vaal anything that is 25%. I'll roll sextants and a map device but this league I can't tell a difference between that style of mapping and running my maps magic or white. While in the past that would be way more noticeable. If you just want people running for box mechanics and/or boss rush and not really investing in making the game harder then I'd say you hit the mark with this latest patch.

Also would love to hear about the view on crafting changes because personally I think that has way more effect on how long and interested I am in progressing in a league. If you wanted to shit on harvest because something was comes then find but you should have done it on the league that new thing was being released.
Disappointed in seeing this. I'm only on t13 at the moment, but I'm starved for basic currency such as(Vaal, alc, scour). Nothing seems to be dropping but the developer says its fine.

Sounds great, but the difficulty to reward isn't there unless you happen to get a lucky RNG and hit a particular rewarding Archnem combo, and now pray it doesn't disable your build or one shot you. Sounds great in theory but it isn't the game you have made.



League content should be harder and more rewarding...

Agreed, but it's not. We are finding occassionaly 1 splinter in a breach, so again we need to go full MF'er to make this content worth running? Sounds great in principle but again this isn't the game we are all playing right now.




This is all true. You have some design philosophies GGG, but it seems all the mechanics are in your head instead of in your game. We're playing the game, not your fantasy of it.
Highly doubt this will make a change but here it goes anyway, since the atlas skill tree was introduced I've been using the Harbinger nodes to maybe get a lucky ex or ex shard, and honestly it worked, I had a safety net I knew even if I spent 6 hours farming maps and dropped no ex's eventually Harbingers would give me one and that would pay one little upgrade to the build time after time.
Granted it may not seem like much, for the average player that plays a lot of hours a day but don't actually know how to make mirrors crafting, it would most definitely make a difference.
Not only that option was taken from us with the change from ex's to divines, but Harbingers where made not worth the points allocated on the atlas tree, at the end of the day from all the fragments we can make 1 or 2 ex's that's 10 to 20 chaos this league. Earlier today I dropped a Memory :) an Harbinger Memory :).
In the 4 maps the Memory took me the net profit was around 10 chaos in currency shards. Harbingers nowadays are obsolete, not worth spending any points, and it won't change as divines don't have shards to stack and ex's are worth around 10 chaos after you put together 20 shards.
I don't really care if groups can drop 5 mirrors a day, I care that the low amount I could farm if I invested my time was taken from me with the changes, and then I read "For the average player this means no significant changes".

Keep trying to give off the impression the staff and you are listening through your PR blubber - most of us know you're not. You have ideas and a """""vision"""" you want to shove down our throat.

The game was arguably amazing relative to now, before 3.15. The "direction" youre going in is the opposite of what players ask (and always claim innocence in your apology essays!), in the name of ego and "vision".

I've never seen such a self-sabotaging company that has a fetish for shooting itself in the foot. This game needs a real competitor, so so so so badly.

GGG, please listen we as a community love poe we want whats fun, getting an insane amount of currency from one monster isnt what we want yes its super cool but its also super rare. The majority of players us averagers are getting one shot by damage mods we go maps without seeing much common currency like alchs and vaal orbs we cant progress maps because we dont have these things, yes it has got a little better but i played for 4 hours today and found 1 vaal orb...
Consistant loot in smaller stacks feel more rewarding and progressive then a massive 50 divine orb once in a life time when not everyone gets lucky like that.
And secondly, the crafting we cant craft anything when fossils, harvest, metamods, everything has been ripped from us, yes meta mods are a thing but whats the point in them if we cant get the gear to a place to even use them?

This entire post just shows how disconnected Chris is from the community. It's absolutely unreasonable as the LEAD DEVELOPER to misunderstand the massive impact this change would have. Any end-game player, casual or not, understands what these changes meant for the game immediately. I guess this is what happens when you balance your game using nothing but Excel spreadsheets hahaha.

Come on, this changes nothing monsters don't drop anything only random garbage and rarly at that and no currency besides whetstones and armour scraps, there is no loot, and on lake from reward chests we get a single chaos orb at most
