What Happened with Items

Some streamers with huge auditory can't accept the fact there is no more chance to farm 1 mirror per day and the story begins. But this is step in right direction. The amount of loot from juicy maps was just absurd in previous league. There is a lots of problems but no loot.

Just as someone said early this this thread.
Mechanics just as Heist, Essences and Expedition are far more viable than juicing your maps.
I've been running tier 1 maps with Essences and get the same drops as a tier 16 map.
This should not be allowed


Pls give us something to work with so that we can be motivated to play the game again
Bring back the old loot (or at least make the rare mobs more rewarding so they make up for the current loot change), buff minons and harvest
feel like I wish yall had dropped loot 2.0 with this if it was going to be this insane. I picked the best league to choose to heist start by chance thankfully, and my mapping experience has been okay but it's been mostly heist.

My takeaway to this is now rarity/quant is mandatory on gear which is another affix to add to our already crowded items that need life, resists, arm/eva/es, spell supression, ele evasion, etc. I like the idea of good gear having rarity/quant but coupled with current state of crafting doesn't feel great (loot 2.0, recomb, harvest mods restored all help fix this).

I've gotten decent currency drops and I even feel like the number of currency drops are looking decent (surprising how many chests are dropping currency for example) but the quality of the drops seems more poor than normal (I got an arcanist with 1 whetstone after the patch for that btw).

Beyond/Scourge was directly stated as huge nerf, so then why were the tainted currency items dumpstered (allegedly). If the system was already nerfed I don't see a reason why to nerf the currency too considering you have to corrupt the item (already a risk in of itself) and how eventually 6 links on gear won't mean anything (since we will move to gem links).

item nerfs feel much worse than the quoted 7-17% which feels very out of touch. While I hate to see 90% nerf napkin math being thrown around it feels like easily double to triple of your 7-17% quote across the board, with all of that loot being funneled to the rares and bosses (this is an okay change but if your philosophy is for league content to be twice as rewarding as normal content why is rare monster content 10-25x as rewarding as normal and magic monster content [very inconsistent with philosophy])

Speaking of Archn-Nem I've found the mods/difficulty okay thusfar but any time the idea of rng stacking difficulty is talked of the fact that a global cap is not introduced out the getgo is strange. Going forward the design team should always have a cap in mind. With Arch-nem let's say that no matter if 5 unfavorable mods stack in the worst way there should be a hard cap on no more than 60% player's damage being reduced for example.

If you want to make drastic core loot and itemization changes like this it might be best to work them in to the end of the league cycle. Remember when you used to run flashback temp leagues. Well that's probably a perfect time to test something that might have huge repercussions on player retention.

Also maybe make sure that rarest/most rewarding arch-nem mods take priority over the other ones that can potentially screw with them (not sure how this currently works in game) and maybe even give them reward icons for funsies?

This is probably the most critical i've been in a post for PoE's direction and while I'm fairly happy with the way my current league has been going after the changes most people I know don't feel the same way and are struggling. I don't want the game I love to keep hemorrhaging players.

To all the shills that think like this, solo players have and still will make a mirror a day. Playing the market while solo grinding has always been more profitable. YOU will get worse items and experience a worse market. Inb4 some get good shill reply, I'm SSF.
New D3 season starts tonight, much more fun.

4 mod archnem rares have huge percentage bonuses, but it makes the game way too spikey. You have nothing and then you have a billion of one specific thing. Or one person has nothing and one person has everything.
