Epic Boss Drop on 39% quantity map

Just yesterday I was in a full party killing vaal in merciless for the first time.

he drops 1 blue and a white flask... that's it.

Magic find DOES NOT GUARANTEE you a good drop or a big drop or any kind of drop whatsoever.
It improves your CHANCES to get a good/big drop.
No guarantee just a chance.

# of items dropped depends on the drop roll(s).
The more IIQ you have the more such rolls mob killed by you will get.
So again there is less CHANCE to fail them all (get nothing) but it's still possible.
The more IIR you have the better quality of dropped items will be.

I run with around 110 iq and 160 rarity and rare mobs sometimes drop nothing at all.
I'm not a summoner, I kill them in an open space, solo with cleave or similar skill.
That's how loot generating works here.

Again it's not D3, it's more like D2 where meph could drop you arrows and a pile of cash even though you've killed him with a 600 mf char in multippl game.

And yes, there are bugs involved with drops, when mobs killed in certain way will always drop nothing/drop less than they should but not every no-drop/shit drop is due to a bug.

So again, what's the point of this thread?
To make a rant about this? To report a bug? To showcase it?

You could make a thread titled "I dodged an arrow today and I have only 5% chance to evade"
Stuff like that happens and it's not a news.

And even though I'm not a GGG employee I doubt it will be ever changed to guaranteed amount/quality.

seems like the drops are normal to me, and this is a single boss kill btw
