Epic Boss Drop on 39% quantity map

Pretty decent for 73% rarity and 39% quantity!

I go around with 215% rarity and 27% quantity. I usually get at least 3 rares from bosses, never less than 2. Sometimes though I can get 8-10.
Also, I run rare maps, not magic maps. |

If I were to bet I would make a few statements about what I think you had running. Let me know how many I have right.
1. You're playing a summoner, or at least a witch with Summon Skeleton. 2. You had skeletons attacking the boss when they died. 3. You have Minion Instability. 4. Your skeletons are summoned through a Spell Totem. 5. Your spell totem had expired, but the skeletons were still present. <--- this one I am not sure about. If items #1-4 are right, and possibly #5, then you have exactly duplicated some of my own experiences. It seems in my testing that if my skeletons, summoned through a totem, kill the boss via exploding from minion instability then I get very little to no loot. How'd I do in my suppositions? |

No, you are not right.
However, i have Minion Instability. I cast my skeletons by myself. Also, on the next rare Spring maps i got this: Rarity: Rare Vine Circlet -------- Energy Shield: 7 -------- Sockets: R -------- Itemlevel: 69 -------- Unidentified Really? 7 ES circlet with iLvl 69? Plenty of times rares have dropped nothing or 1 white item.
