Your dps is crazy low. Dual spark is the best farmer possible in my opinion. I wouldn't give up so easily. You need to work on your dps. Get to around 1.5k tooltip dps and docks should be fairly easy.

Link your gear and passives. There is probably some dps gains there.

This build isnt about stacking iir/iiq. Its about a balance between dps, surviability, iiq/iir. The advantage of this build is the IIR from wondertrap, the dps from RF and the safety of totems. Combine all that together and you have a high dp, high iir, toon with good surviability.

I actually went full out iir/iiq. Hmmm maybe I should go full out dps and slowly balance out iir/iiq. I shouldn't worry about resists much do I?

When do I start RF? I think 1.5K will be much easier for me to get when I can use it.

You may consider using a ruby flask for void bearers. You are losing a of dps and es because of your shield. ES is EXTREMELY important in farm speed. It lets you drop totems and continue moving without worrying too much about dying. With low ES you have to play safer and slower aka drop totems wait for things to die then move.

That is true, and it's my eventual goal. However, the other advantage to the Phoenix Shield is that it allows me to get a lot of my Fire Resist from 1 piece (Something like 60% when on low life). This means that I am able to hit RF a lot faster than I would have otherwise. (I've been using it since roughly 72, now 75)

I'm not suggesting it as a BiS piece, but it works as an effective crutch until I have the currency to buy items that will allow me to work without it. I'm not currently losing a lot of DPS, since I am using RF sooner than I would be able to otherwise and getting something like 80% More damage sustained 99% of the time (except when I need to heal).

You are correct that I am having to play safer than if I had more ES. On the other hand, I currently don't have a ton of ES boosting nodes set up, so I don't think that a good ES shield is going to jump my ES as high as it might someone who was building a little differently.

With a couple more levels, and a bit more currency to buy what I need rather than what I can currently afford, I will definitely make the switch.

Don't know what's stopping you.

I swap back and forth between 61/357 and 91/257 IIQ/R.

My ES is barely pushing 2k and basic DPS before I go lowlife/RF is 357.

Voidbearers are laughed at basically. 83% Fire res. Springleaf shield.

Even without RF/Pain Attunement, I can easily clear out docks. Using those steroids, however, DPS jumps to 1050 and it just wrecks docks super-fast.

Personally, more IIQ feels better for just currency farming. I find a few uniques a day, but that doesn't make much money. A chaos or two every docks does, however.

You're claiming that you're pulling a Chaos or two every docks run? With 91 IIQ?

Guaranteed is more like it.

Varied assortments of orbs usually averaging to around a chaos worth total over roughly 40 hours of runs. Average haul per run is somewhere around 3 alchs as a minimum unless there's unbelievably shitty luck.

That's not counting the uniques I can sell off for dirt cheap which I get about every 10~ runs.

EDIT: And then right after saying this, I jinx myself into a run with no currency or rare drops. FML.

Haha, at risk of jinxing yourself again, are you including the materials from rares that drop? Or is that just pure currency drops?

I have been trying to see how my luck goes with just grabbing uniques and currency, to avoid the downtime of identifying and selling rares that are barely pulling an alteration or two.

I'm at ~114 IIQ / 167 IR (if I include the IQ gem on my Spark totem), so I'm just trying to maximize the value of the runs I'm doing.

That's just pure currency drops.

Adding in items and stuff would raise it to about 4~ alchs a run, before uniques.

I didn't realize some of the values of some of the stuff I was picking up... I'll be a little less inclined to go on massive crafting sprees in the future, I think >.>

You must be pretty lucky with drops to get a chaos or two per run. either that or I'm just unlucky heh.

I'm running at 73/280 , and in the last 7 runs at docks I pulled in a massive.

1 Scouring
1 Fusing
1 Chisel
1 Alch

-.-

0 Uniques
0 white Occultist Vestments
0 white maelstrom staffs
3 6s items

Averaging about 8 rare drops per run.
Noob question here, do you need to be low life to activate spell dmg bonus from RF? Can't find on wiki that you you need to be on low life but on RF section on page 1, it says you must be in low life. Please clarify. TIA.
