try to lower your maximum life as possible. Higher ES is better so your regen will also increase. you can put vitality and discipline on bloodmagic, clarity and purity at reduced mana. In my case, I use vitality, purity and haste on bloodmagic with reduced mana. I don't have any life regen mods on items. just the 1.0% at passive and vitality aura with inner force. Just try to reach 4k+ ES and you will be able to sustain RF. atm try to use springleaf on secondary to regen your ES then switch again to your main shield whenever you want to do higher dps.

I'm gonna give this a go in HC I think.

How do you do that? With my lvl 12-14 Gems the Auras need 60% of the life...
Do the higher level gems drop the reserved rate under 33%??



And still my question: When does the drop penatly at docks become too much? I am lvl 69 am and only have found one map thus far, so nothing to fall back into. Thinking of suiciding and staying 69 for quite a while.

There is surely a point where you get punished for being too high level.
Docks is lvl 62 when i believe the map tooltip so being over 72 gives malus on drops or where does it start?

You'll never be considered being above level 68 when loot is concerned (XP is a different matter) - stay at docks until you feel safe entering maps, one way or another.

He's probably using "The Covenant" robe, which lets you buff with blood magic without the added penalty that the blood magic gem has. The robe can be switched out after buffs are up.(who knows when or if it is ever fixed/nerfed/whatnot)

The mask adds 100% increased mana use though, doesnt it? So it will be 200%, almost the same as my blood magic gem (not used, I got the covenant) that has 205% cost? Havent owned the mask myself, so I cant say.

At level 44, what should my dps be? Mine is currently only 90.2... Granted, I only use self found stuff, but it seems awefully low.

I tried it with the mask and had no problem running Displine-Purity-Clarity-Haste auras (I dont think we need more), two on health, and two on mana, and still had a lot of mana left to cast totems etc.
