Well here's the thing, how do you get that mirrored shield? You either find a mirror (lets just put it close to impossible, shall we?), obtain ~60ex or buy the shield straight away for something like, err, I'd put it at ~65 ex if anybody were willing to sell.

Therefor, that shield will be exclusive to a group of ~20 players.

May I ask how you obtained that much dps without the mirrored wand and shield? I tried on a 100% spell dmg, 80% spell crit and ~40%ish crit multiplier wand yesterday (without any cast speed on it, mind you, but I still had 0,42 cast time) and that raised my dps by a whopping 100 and put my spark to almost 23% crit chance.

In other words, I have a hard time raising my dps without sacrificing too much MF.

Am about to get rid of springleaf, trying to sustain RF without it.

Edit: RF dps is 2.2k, 2.48 casts per second, 19.8% crit chance, 372% multiplier.

To start I'd drop 5gcp into that faster cast.

If your RF isn't 20/20, that also helps alot.

Wand shouldn't be too expensive to replace with something better.

Will go into it more when I don't have an angry woman viciously attacking me with a bread knife.

I'm having some DPS problems. Not really a problem.. but i guess it's kinda low for the equip i'm using. Currently 78IIQ //278IIR . I have 6.3k ES ,DPS is only 1.8k ( With RF on ).



My gear atm. Don't see how it's so low while you guys are hitting 4k .. my gear isn't too bad imo

Replace Aurseize and get gloves with crit chance and multiplier! Your IIR will drop by 50, though.

Also, your gems are not level 20 yet, especially spark increases your dps by a ton. And please run haste, it adds a nice 9% casting speed.

Envy you for the shield. A ton. If you ever want to sell it, I sadly can't offer anything but my dignity as well as my body.

Thanks for the advice so far, I indeed only have level 19 RF and 11%q, as well as only +2 fire gem offhand, not +3 total. I will upgrade my gems asap.

you should upgrade belt and amy first. gloves are really crap compared with the rest of your insane gear. even i have better gloves and i'm broke as fuck

haha, gloves i'm just using it for the 50% Rarity .. Maybe i'll drop em for Maligaro's or something.

I'm currently at 258iir / 110iiq. Should i aim for higher iir or iiq ? Or is that a stable amount to start farming uniques ?

You may want to consider selling your shavs, buy a rare 6L and get closer to gale Emblem (assuming you don't do maps). I've never farmed maps and I have never had issues with currency (I can buy whatever I want). Also, upgrade your wand. It's meh.

What are you farming? docks? If its docks get more iiq.

Docks is not a good place to farm uniques and your dps is too low to farm lunaris.

That's plenty. In fact, that's slightly more than I run with now w/o the flask up. (Buffed is ~122Q & 310 IIR, still need to get a quality rarity :( ). I wouldn't worry about which one to focus primarily on, just try to find gear with upgrades to both (sorry for the generic answer). I know for me in anarchy it's incredibly difficult to find upgrades for my rings and helm since they're either being used by people, way out of my price range, or lack the additional stats I need (namely res).

I'm curious what shield you're planning on using if not the mirrored one on default. I've been (unsuccessfully) trying to drop my springleaf, even for rise of the phoenix due to it giving more options for helm upgrades in the future; however, the 6% regen is absolutely massive and allows me to run RF in maps with a combination of slow regen, vuln, - max res, weakness, etc. I think until I'm able to acquire a shield that adds 2k+ ES (similar to the default one) there's really no replacement for springleaf simply because I'll be in the situation I am with ROTP, ie. having to turn RF off due to many map mods and losing out on the damage increase.

/e disregard my comments about arctic armor. Seems as though after additional testing I've been able to achieve the same results by using faster casting on curse (rather than reduced mana).
