sysop I don't understand your boot gems - are you not running your auras with something like ? In that case you only need reduced mana lvl7 -- see my items above, got it on my shield.

Also if I remember correctly, IIR is more effective for bosses and IIQ for mobs.

On a side note and out of curiosity: Why is everyone farming Lunaris and not catacombs A3? It has a good chance for a big chest and also is lvl 67.

Lunaris is 68 and can spawn a large chest as well. Cooler zone is a bonus :)

Build is for lvl 98, assuming you took alira in cruel. That's a bit unrealistic, you have taken everything worth taking. You should at least free up about 15-20 points otherwise there's not much to say ;)

As i said to shaokim, shield passives, if intended to cover for lack of fire res, are not that great. Should make some calculations to factor the 15% extra ES from shield (if you have a godly ES shield) to see if it's worth it. Otherwise just take all-res + fire res node under IF.

As a side note, i'll be up with a bit more theorycrafting when I'm done leveling my new char with this build in Anarchy. New scenarios, better understanding ;)

The skill tree was representing which potential nodes I would take. By no means do I intend to have this be my "final" build as I typically do not bother leveling my characters after 85.

My gems are in a game of musical chairs as of recently as I have been searching for a helm with iiq and/or iir. Granted, Malachai is good for this build, I personally favor focusing completely on iiq/iir until I have at least satisfied 100/230.

Would someone mind rattling off the gear required to push max fire res to 100% (if it is still possible after patch 0.11)?

Naked chicks that shoot needles at you out of their tentacles. Hawt. I personally find Lunaris easier because the majority of the mobs are melee and tend to shredded up when they get into a confined space. Remember to use frost wall to direct your sparks towards your enemies!

1. As an alternative to RF. How do you guys feel about swapping to dual brightbeak. You lose 18% spell dmg at max level but you don't have the danger of degen. Which if you don't have max fire resist helps. Also it saves points as for 18% you save points on the way to EA and Troll's blood if you go that route.

2.Could someone post a piety kill. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. She kills my totems faster than I am able kill her. I have 900 tooltip dps,higher with swap to dual BB, 4.5k ES. Really the problem is I go oom burn through mana pots and can't cast new totems fast enough. I could portal but that gets old fast.

I will post a piety kill for you on my thread tomorrow. She isn't very difficult and I've been meaning to make a new video anyway since I hit level 75.

Looking forward to it Kora, Something else i forgot to point out about dual brightbeak, its hard to maintain RF with Andi rings on, swap BB helps for this kind of MF set up.

hi, is inner force so bad instead of ES nodes?

i mean with this build you run with at least 5 auras even solo, arent those 3 nodes good to take?

Edit: doesn't inner force affect righteous fire too?(that would be 6 auras )

I think you misunderstand -- you use the helmet, cast your auras and then switch to your normal helmet again. Else, we'd all be running a low-life bloodmagic build that would kill us.

I have 110/266, though my fire resistances have suffered a bit. Which is fine with me, don't run RF.
