My opinion on what should be done with the auras:

Anger/Hatred/Wrath: You know that little fiery/sparking/freezing orb that orbits you when you use a topaz/ruby/sapphire flask? Just use that? Or would it lower the sales of the skull versions? :3 or just make the current aura animations a little more visible.

Determination: Please, if you're not going to give back the whirling shields, can you at least make the current animation a bit more informative? Discipline clearly conveys that it's a defensive, barrier type aura. Determination's animation is just a...golden line, what does this golden line even mean? I'm not sure it's even golden since it's so tiny anyway.

Vitality: Why not make the animation similar to Clarity's, but red? It would make a whole load of sense than this red paint brush mark floating around my feet.

Purity of Elements: Maybe bring back the old animation but a toned down/smaller or something similar? Or just polish up the current animation, it looks really rough.



Purity of Fire/Ice/Lightning have decent, informative animation.
Discipline actually is a step up from the original animation.
Clarity's animation is pretty clever, it could be a little bit more visible though.
Haste and Grace are barely changed.

Can't even run properly run a clarity aura and a 60% reserved aura with reduce mana. I always have mana issues. This happends untill I get about lvl 60~ or so when the problem seem to be alot less worse, although at this point I spent more mana nodes and mayby even some less reserved mana cost.

Didn't like the aura change when I first saw it, still don't like it and probebly will NEVER like it. This bothers me too much. Hell, even most characters feel very numb playing them.

1+ still patiently waiting to hear from the people who made this happen? I know Russel handles art and what I ask does not pertain to art but when you post a title that threatens to lock other aura threads, it is complete BS and shows a lack of communication with the fan base. Who are these shadowy dev's that decide on such heavy handed nerf tactics? Are they ashamed to have a decent conversation about why they did that and what information they drew from that made them think it was a great idea?

purity of elements looks awsome! best looking aura, only the alternative effect of discipline is better.

We dont merge aura balance talk with this topic. If you want to talk about balance stuff youd probably have better luck in feedback : P.

So:

1) We had highly detailed aura visuals (Regardless of what the creator's opinion is, most people thought they looked fine).

2) They were replaced with extremely basic visuals while simultaneously making it so that those under the influence of another's aura got a under detailed generic effect instead of the same visual effect as the source.

The reason? Aura stacking made the visuals look dumb (Players were stacking 3+ aura's) and having all objects under the influence of an aura use the same high detailed aura effect as the source made things hard to see and added greatly to screen clutter, especially when playing with minion summoner's.

3) Aura's were rebalanced to greatly minimize the possibility of a player stacking more than 2 aura's simultaneously.

I still think the latter change in Point #2 as well as everything in Point #3 should result in the original Aura's returning as the original problems will still be resolved and most players prefer the original visuals...

This is the only aura thread because the others are locked did you read that part Russel?

As I have written before Russel if you would be so kind as to redirect to the proper dev team? would that be so hard? You know what I ask does not pertain to your subject of expertise yet you keep answering(3 times now), wouldn't it be simpler to just ask the people in charge of such changes to send me a private msg?, Which is what I have been asking since the beginning of the aura changes; since the previous aura threads have been locked and the forum section involving arts is the last bastion of thought on this subject.

What I am curious about:
1.Would it have been better to cap players are 2-3 auras(seemed to be the average) and have a new keystone that allowed more auras?
2. Were these aura changes done to promote more builds using high lvl items that can help get around these aura restrictions?

2 QUESTIONS THAT IT!!!! That is all I am curious about, SO RUSSEL PLEASE TAKE A MINTUE AND SEND TO THE PROPER DEV WHO CAN PATIENTLY AND KINDLY TAKE 5 MINS OR LESS OUT OF THEIR DAY TO MESSAGE BACK. I KNOW ALL YOU DO IS ART BUT WOULD YOU BE SO KIND TO REDIRECT SINCE I DO NOT KNOW WHO TO WRITE TOO CONCERNING THESE CHANGES?
