Credit due for hard work:) Your efforts here are appreciated. Thanks

Not sure why one would still need Resolute Technique (IF you can get your hands on a Glare, doesn't miss) and Blood Magic (with HP nerfs on patch before last).

With my minimal Ranger Build knowledge I am also not sure how the build (as it is now) benefits from the Ranger passive changes? Does not look like much on this build?

Why not the Bow Physical Damage Nodes just above Point Blank?

Why not the Physical Damage Nodes just to the right of Ballistic Mastery?

You did mention you can spec more damage :)

Why not the Heart of Oak?

Why still Iron Grip? Late Game? Not Point Blank, Or does it not work as well as I would think with ROA?

I mostly have (leveled a lot) melee builds but I am burning to try a Ranger build.

He personally doesn't have more dmg nodes so he doesn't one shot himself bcs if he would use more dmg nodes his dmg would be insanely high and it would be way to risky to run endgame maps.
Plays Gangstaboo on Hardcore normal or Hardcore Onslaught ?
Hey Gankstaboo!

First off I'd like to say thank you for providing the Ranger community with such an awesome guide!

I have been a very avid follower of your steam ever since starting the game roughly two weeks ago. I've managed to climb by way up to level 71 (although I'm playing on Anarchy) and so far things are going somewhat well. I'm using your RoA build.

I have sort of come to a crossroad in terms of gear though. I'm doing okay in lower level maps/Lunaris/Docks BUT I'm having a hard time finding upgrades due to the fact that this is my first "high" level character.

Now for my question. How did you acquire all that gear? Were other characters used? Or did you just stick with it and manage to get lucky with drops?
So I've looked at your current builds and figured out a way to Increase your total life by 18.1 life based off having 100 life so a 18.1% total Life increase as well as increase your physical damage by 6%. Which isn't to terribly much more, but in terms of min/max you mine as well squeeze the most you can out of your build!

If I am not understanding how these calculations are made and am incorrect please let me know but I am making these calculations based off having 100 base life to start. So it should be the same not matter how much life you have

Note: Calculations based on 100 Life

Current point allocation:
Four points spent on four 6% Life Nodes = +24% Increased Life
Total = +24% Increased Life
100 x .24 = 24
24 + 100 = 124 Life

Alternative point allocation:
Four points spent on two +10 STR = +10 Life and two +10% Increased Life nodes = +20% Increased Life
Total = +10 Life and +20% Increased Life
100 + 10 = 110 Life
110 x .2 = 22
22 + 110 = 132 Life (And +2% Physical Damage with Iron Grip)

Current point allocation:
Five points spent on one +10 STR = +5 Life and three +6% Increased Life = +18% Increased Life and one point spent on +8% Increased life and +20 STR = +10 Life and +8% Increased Life.
Total = +15 Life and +26% Increased Life
100 + 15 = 115 Life
115 x .26 = 29.9
115 + 29.9 = 144.9 Life (And +6% Physical Damage with Iron Grip)

Alternative point allocation:
Five points spent on four +10 STR = +20 Life and one point spent on +30 max Life and +10 STR = +35 Maximum Life
Total = +55 Maximum Life
100 + 55 = 155 Life (And +10% Physical Damage with Iron Grip)
