I gotta thanks you for the Mana Leech tip, most of all. Always thought Clarity + Mana Regen is better, but that's just not viable with EK, and the Mana is better spent on Hatred (which has the same DPS as a gem, anyway).

Have you considered using Voll's / Power Charge on Crit? I have about 50% Crit right now, with 800%+ damage, so insta-death on crit. Like FP, this build is viable with 3L, if you're not farming.

Added bonus is that you can use Discharge to instakill Phys. Reflect mobs with very little bother.

Hey there, glad to hear you are enjoying it. I personally haven't tested out voll's / pcoc but that is definitely a looot of crit. Just need to be careful with the phys reflect crits or like you said that is suicide. :D EK allows a lot of freedom to play around with the EK link itself or other links and itemizing. It scales so good alone with passives and few supports.

Thanks for posting this build, it's interesting to see a shadow running this kind of setup, not the usual cup of tea for us :).

I'm interested in making a flicker strike cast on crit build. From your experience do you think I could gear and spec enough into EK while stacking dagger crit nodes to make this worthwhile?

Its super fun. I went through the Scion centre instead of witch because there's loads more cast speed and 15% crit nodes to take later on that way.

Just swung down to the Templar area for prestigration and the extra 10% all resists notables and all the crit chance notables, and I'm taking GR / CI / Zealots Oath next.

Dont need throatseeker yet, I got 650% crit multi from gear, so just going ES tanky to finish it off.

You could probably get CoC to work if you took some dagger passives to help crit then got a nice dagger with attack speed / crit roll + spell damage. It is a more demanding link but it can definitely work.

EK will always scale strong on its own with just a bit of spell damage / crit.

Hey, sorry for late reply. The only change that has been made really was for the 1.0 patch but that was a while ago. Slight passive change, but still works great.

I'm a bit stuck at level 63 because I don't have GR / CI yet, but am taking them next.

I had to take off my crit chance and multiplier unique gloves for more ES gear, but I also helped Alira in merciless, and passed over a 5L chest from an alt to try using EK, Mana leech, Life Leech, Increased crit multiplier, and power charge on crit.

With all my crit multi gear I had plus 4 power charges, I reached 50% crit chance and 700x crit multi (still without throatseeker tree). It was fun until I kept suiciding to reflect mobs, so now its down to 45% / 400x with more ES gear and no more crit multi support gem (faster casting instead).

I'll take GR / CI next, then influence and the 2 nodes before leadership to get a huge buff from discipline and to hopefully allow me to run discipline, hatred plus a low level clarity. Then from level 70-80 Id want to head towards Zealots Oath plus two extra power charges and a single mind over body notable.
