[REMOVED!] You wanted to buy Beta keys - here's an official charity auction!
I'm not going to lie, I'd pay $100 for a single beta key, and the fact that it's going to charity really says a lot about you developers. Kudos.

I would really pay a decent amount to for a key just show me where to sign!

where do I bid?

The more I think about this, the more I think of how great an idea this is.
Gaming has a really negative rep in the press as of late with the shootings and whatnot. If you were to auction of beta keys and donate it to a charity it would generate a lot of great press not only for the gaming industry but for GGG, it would also serve as a great free advertisement and help get the name out there amongst the masses. Chris, I have faith you will find a way to make this happen! I think you guys could just post it as a say office memorabilia but also post that the winning bidder gets the beta key(s) as well. My suggestion is a kind of "blind" auction.
Create an auction E-Mail account. Now every one interested in bidding sends his bid to this mail account. Set a deadline for biddings. After the deadline give the keys to the highest bidder. Spend the $$$. Profit! If you never try then you'll never know.

where can we bid?

Man, how long did THAT last? 20 seconds? eBay were pretty quick to jump on that auction.
YOUはSHOCK!

Whats currently the highest bid, I have some spending cash and credit cards. I would like to know where I would stand in all of this.
You know what really grinds my GEARS?

If you're going to hold a charity auction, please donate to a charity that does 3rd world work.
www.charitywater.org is a good example of a charity we should be donating to. Donating to solve first world problems is nowhere near as important as these third world problems. |

" $32 (USD) although that was merely in the first few minutes of a 3-day auction. |
