Just curious why you still have the undying evangelists surviability listed as the same as zombies? With quality increased duration and quality life leech they keep themselves alive amazingly well with little to no watching aside of reflect maps. I often end boss fights/tough maps (gmp + chain) with zombies littered all over the floor and my bubble guys still at full hp. I know BM's are considered godly right now but i'm using bubble guys with no snapshot cheese/cast on death 'abuse' + 5 4link zombies (raise zombie/minion and totem ele resistance/minion life or minion damage/multistrike) not even in a +2 helm and I have no problems in higher maps because my spectres survive very well on their own. While this isn't always the case its certainly much higher than with bm's.

I've also never gotten a complaint about lag from any party I've been in from the spectres and you can use hatred/vulnerability for both zombies and bubble guys. I'm noticing them in more streams/parties but I believe these are the best spectres right now not bm's if you are mapping in parties at higher levels, if you are solo bm's are pretty nasty. As so long as I'm paying a modicum of attention to hp bars over the course of maps they generally don't die.

And an added bonus, you can hide in the bubble, this has saved my bacon more than a few times in tough spots and is the big reason these are my favorite spectres.

Any more thoughts on the Reanimators from Lunaris 1?
(The humanoid necromancers that cast enfeeble and raise zombies)

With 3-4 of them that adds another 9-12 zombies to your army to benefit from Wrath/Anger etc. I'm still playing around a bit with my duration-summoner so i've not enough reduced mana nodes to really test it yet, but from what i saw at merciless ledge picking them up in cruel was enough to really overthink what i'll be going for.
(Currently i've colored my ES chest for GMP/MSpd/Kb/Fpro to get some great use out of pretty much any ranged/caster spectre. I know the gems arent optimal for each individual spectre but it gets a lot out of them whether they're birds, curtains, voidbearers, beetles, etc.)

I've already noted the extra zombies aren't exactly your own as they don't heal from minion healing potions, so that rules out a lot of ways to support them (both in the passive tree and with sockets), but the extra count to your army profiting from auras like wrath, anger and haste seems really significant.
The mobs AI is quite nice, they stay back a lot and have all the time to constantly recast fallen zombies and blanket the screen with enfeeble.
I'm quite blank on what would be nice supports with them though. The GMP/Kb setup above works to some extent on their wand attacks, but there should be some other creative choices that really suit them. (Stuff like FCR, MDmg or AoE seems superficial)

edit: i've by now noted some snippets on reanimators in the thread, but none of them seem specialized for them. I'll try my best to test them in a more meaningful way considering i'm an 'army-summoner' anyway, and as such have the setup necessary to look into their potential considering there is little else than auras to enhance them. I will need time though.

Recently became lvl 75, where i was able to spec into Eldritch and switch out Clarity for Anger. Also created room for Flesh Offering by moving Raging Spirits to a 3l. Results are very positive. Here goes:


Reanimators
1. Raise Spectre
2. GMP
3. x (? FCR)
4. x (? Knockback)
5. x (? Minion Life)
6. x (? Minion Res)

Time to get: From Barracks: 5-12m
From Lunaris 2: 3-15m
Attack: Spells: Enfeeble, Raise Zombie, Ranged Attack: Wand
Behavior: Defense raising zombies and cursing, ~50% wand attacks
Survivability: Takes defensive position in the back
Not very many HP: bad against chaining/piercing
Zombies & Enfeeble increase overall survivability
Has energy shield
Attack/Cast Speed: Not really important considering spells are utility
Damage Output: Low on their own, High with Auras
Curses: Punishment, Vulnerability, if they've cast Enfeeble already.
Support with: Wrath, Anger, Haste; Flesh Offering

Description/Info/Personal Feeling:
Reanimators can add a substantial amount of zombies to your army to benefit from Auras like Wrath and Anger or buffs like Flesh Offering.
They also add a meat wall of 9-12 zombies that are constantly reraised and enfeeble pretty much everything.
The Zombies they raise are not your minions, so will not gain any bonuses from your Passive Tree, Support Gems or Potions.
Their behaviour on map entrance is to first raise their zombies, from the first corpses or desecrate.
From then on they will blanked the screen with Enfeeble, reraise any fallen zombies and use their wand attacks.
There seem to be few supports really shining on Reanimators because of their supportive nature.
Best i can come up with is either:
1) Enhancing their wand attacks with things like GMP/Knockback/Faster Projectiles/etc
2) Enhancing their utility casting with things like FCR/Aoe/etc
3) Enhancing their survivability with things like Minion Life/Res.
None of these are substantial enough to warrant going out of your way for a 5 or 6 linker
Gathering time can be quite long for several reasons:
1) Lunaris 1 has no waypoint: From Lunaris 2 can be shortest but is random; from barracks you have a defined path but can take a while, and one might have trouble passing by all the arcmages
2) Considering they cast Raise Zombie and the other necros in Lunaris 1 cast Detonate Dead it is quite likely your Reanimator corpse gets used before you can spectre it.
3) There arent very many Reanimators in Lunaris 1. That combined with 2) can cause you to have to run the area twice.
I recommend them especially in an army-summoner setup. With that i mean someone using a lot of skeletons, zombies, raging spirits, animated weapons and/or dominating blow converts. Such a playstyle lends itself more to auras like Wrath instead of focussing on the damage output of only 3-4 spectres.

alot changed since 2013 so every information to the actual , or some new spectres for a new better list




nearly everthing with ranged can use multistrike (so far i remember expect arc and some other specials)

but the info "ranged attack"

was in a discussion where someone wanted to add a CAST support gem to the incinerators , as they DONT cast its a useless game and we (not only me alone) figured out alot of different abilitys of the mobs.

CoH doesn't work with minions (or totems/traps/mines).
Is the initial post in this thread still accurate?
