" I'm happier that you are delaying the patch to make sure it is properly tuned before releasing it than I would be having the patch come out sooner. The new supports sound like a fun addition, looking forward to testing them out. If your team has some armor visual effects (kind of like the weapon effects) I'd be very interested in getting some of those. As for loot allocation - I think the new system is a big improvement and I am thankful your team is looking at trying to find the best way to implement it. Squatting using collision is still a problem, as is ice wall blockage. With a melee character there are movement skills that could probably get past ice wall, but not much you can do with a bow on both swaps. Hope you enjoy your visit! buff volls protector, the stat that made is special is now available as a support gem. 50% reduced mana will never be worth it.

" ...but its not needed, im using volls now - with 30% base crit, i stack all power charges during first mob pack, and it never goes off until area is cleared. As i stated before, power charge on crit as a support gem is a bad idea - if it will be too op, everyone will use it, volls will be useless (or in need of huge buff), or if there will be something like 25% chance to get this power charge on crit, noone will use it, because increased crit will be better. there should be some other way to get power charges, but thru some active skill, something like warlords mark but for power charges: volls using - still viable (you can use other curse), power siphon - still viable (other curses aviable), casters and everyone else have a way to get power charges thx to this curse - good for everyone, adn not too op. will the power charge support work on flam totem? if it does I'm set. my totem only has 13% crit chance under crit curse but it hits .06 a second. it's already used to perma blind packs of mobs and bosses with the power charge support I could easily have constant charges as this thing fire off hundreds of hits in it 15 second life span. Makes it so I never have to slot a increased crit chance again

" You don't quite understand, Voll's is definite power charge on crit, the OP post states it is a CHANCE to gain a charge on crit, and it's a support gem. Meaning, only 1 skill with generate the charges based on that gem, and it's still only a CHANCE if it crits. Difference being ANY skill that crits WILL gain a power charge when you use Voll's. It's still universally better for power charge generation but with the downside of 50% mana loss (which is easily overcame..) This gem just gives a new alternative for non-wand users / people who can't risk the mana to get power charges. |

crit build is already strong enough imo. Plus the power charge gem is functionally repetitive to "increased crit chance" gem, if not a better version. Let alone whether the gem will be OP or not given that the chances it provides and the mana/dmg modifier is unknown, the idea of "getting more crit chances when you crit" is boring enough. Crits are already granted enough bonues: magnified damage by crit muiltiplier; guaranteed status ailments; even protential flask recharges.
While I honestly appreciate all the effort GGG has been devoting, I cant quite agree, as a crit caster myself, with the idea of the "power charge gem". If I won any auctions, plz pm me.

" The point is to use power charges for things like "increased spell dmg for each power charge" node or Discharge spell , or just having a Crit based character with Conduit in party without it being limited to using only wands with Power Siphon - imo the more options the better the game and i like the gem idea. |
