" Yes. Many friends of mine have been running 6 copies and doing merv over and over again. Im glad its fixed(Mostly, Apparently they can still do it on vaal with this patch). |

" Agree and signed ------------------ Couldnt it be possible to let the partymaster set dropoptions? - ffa or, - appointed loot f.ex. This way could maybe work,as some uses ffa, while others like appointing the drops. Also,, i have a wish Chris & GGG staff ; Pls make nods at the passivetree for trapbuilds. Wouldnt it be cool? Setting max 3 traps is fine by default, but would be fun to be a trapspecialist :p This will also gain a totally new buildsetup- And who knows, maybe its even possible to add new kinds of traps too ! Thx for the awsomeness guys. cheers Price increases is inflation yesterday. Money printing is inflation today. Deficit spending is inflation tomorrow Last edited by xSleMMx#6142 on Mar 20, 2013, 6:14:09 AM

Judging by the ocean of tears in this thread, you have struck a fierce blow at the multiboxers. Mind you, the ONLY problem I have with multiboxers is the inevitable inflation caused by them - but it's a huge problem, so I'm allright with the effort put into these changes.
Great patch as usual, GGG, keep 'em coming. Not regretting buying stuff for 50$ at all :D Deutscher Chat: /global 4745

" This did absolutely nothing to stop multiboxing. GGG fucked up and harmed non-multiboxers as well as the economy as a whole. Anyone who thinks this change is good is totally clueless and only has a superficial understanding of what is going on. Watch this Russian dude who always streams himself multiboxing: http://www.twitch.tv/pibadi/new He goes into Merveil, starts fighting, ports his newbs in, then kills her. This last drop was Blackheart, a Chaos and roughly 20 rares. All those rares get made into jeweler/fusing/alch shards. The market, ever since the chaos recipe nerf is flooded with this type of orbs rather than chaos. This just makes it harder for regular players to trade for chaos. (I'm actually skeptical of how many people are even doing this and what the impact is, I think it is just more a reflection of "true worth".) The exchange rates don't change, because of a fundamental problem that people seek to use orbs as money but the system can't react to shifting supply and demand. In no way did this do anything to multiboxing. It impacts more normal team gameplay though. I can't run too far from the team or else the drops suddenly become 1/6th as much but the monsters still have 6x as much life. I can't keep it nice and controlled like the boss multiboxers. |

" el oh el "Problem with cyclone" I can no longer just click right next to myself like before and go real far? |

"I think, this is an important question. I very often use distance to get an advantage: while alone, I run away from large groups and spam Split Arrow. While grouping with my gf, she often draws the attention of a yellow monster to her melee fighter while I stand back 0.75-1.5 screens (depending on the number of normal enemies on the screen). And even WITHOUT using Chain-support you easily kill enemies 3-4+ screens away. You just can't avoid that while using projectile skills. If I understand this mechanic right, you don't get any loot if you are alone and too far away from the killed mobs. Or is the player providing the killing blow counted every time, regardless of the distance? In any case: why bother with a loot-destroying character in public groups? It would be nice if this concerns would be addressed. Maybe I got the consequences totally wrong - but for now I see huge problems for ranged skill characters. My opinion is that this patch is rushed. GGG is trying to fix things that arose due to them fucking up things in the first place.
People will find ways to farm efficiently. This patch makes partying even harder. Before it was sometimes like herding cats trying to keep everyone together. Now people will still split up, but now no loot reward for partying when split up. Bad drops becoming worse. Always "nice" to see a loot game that reduces loot. Now summoner/ranger that breaks vases/boxes off-screen does not get any loot from that. This reminds me of the time when Blizzard nerfed vases and said that they "will still break vases just for the fun of it". Very disappointed in the direction that this patch has taken GGG. Underlying issues that give rise to the problems need to be fixed, then the problems will go away. |
