When a monster is spawned or approached for the first time, the number of players in the instance is checked. Side areas or teleports in a map still check everyone in the whole map.

These changes have been in the works for a long time. I have certainly accelerated their deployment due to the community being concerned with them. That is indeed how patches work - we try to fix things the community tell us are high priorities. Systems like movement simulation sync and client performance are getting similar attention.

Exactly. I hate playing in parties, its always so laggy. I only enjoy playing solo, most of the time its impossible for me to get my loot in parties or I'll die because the lag is so terrible when you are in the middle of a ton of animations. I only like solo, now it's back to never finding anything.

The mentality of gamers these days, they see people doing something that gives them a bonus (doing it all within the rules) and they see that and say, I want that, but I do not want to work for it. TAKE IT AWAY FROM THEM!

I thought this was supposed to be a hardcore game? You do know that it makes the maps harder to finish right? It's more CHALLENGING for us "hardcore" gamers. But apparently there is the new generation of gamers that whine when they see something that they cant have or dont want to put in the work.

Whatever, I mean I see the argument from both sides. If there is actually legitimate reasons against it, like if it causes more server stress and stuff like that, something that actually affects other players I can see that argument. But most of the arguments that I've seen are out of jealousy and laziness or they dont have time.

So, whatever. It sucks, because I was doing it all within the rules and now its back to playing maps solo and finding nothing, ever.

If the game was better optimized maybe we could do parties more...............................

We get 1 patch a week and you guys bitch about what got in this week lol Wait another 8 months will ya. Ofcourse i understand some are not happy that GGG is trying to level the playing field for everyone and i hope in 8 months these people will be gone and we can have an over all better game.
Can we still get the new skill even though we finished the quest that we had to do in order to receive it?
