Hello.
I also love unique builds, and I also tried nearly all weird combinations in D2, that was a lot of fun really. My point is - I am starting in this game now, it would be my second character. Could you tell me what items should I use instead of those you posted? (yeah, I am really new in here) There is no way I can obtain such stuff atm. IGN: Cheshir_Carcass / PolygonWindow / Steinvord

The only core item of each EA is Quillrain, cause it hase the highest ammount of attackspeed. Without it, EA feels very clunky.
The rest of the equipment empowers it mutch, but is not required. You should look for elemental weakness and one additional curse item. So you should try to get atleast the uniqe ring with +1 additional curse. The rest... feel free to equip ure char jow you like. I love the risky, challanging low defense build, where u must pay full attension on evading projektiels and such things. If you dont like it, equip more defensive items. IGN: Toxic_Artillery

Obtain it by trading. Quillrain isnt that expensive.

sorry Isodor, how do you trigger the element equilibrium? I stack EA fuse on 1 monster then split arrow but my monsters still resists fire instead of making it vulnerable. I have items which causes lightning damage as well. Care to shed light on this?

The tooltips below the monster hp didnt update aslong ure mouse is on it.
Try schoot ure splitshoot, move ure mouse from the monster avay (stop also leftclick/rightlick), and back on it after that, and u will see the updated tooltip. Also it only works if the dmg is not to low. When the mosnter is ligning resistent, and u deal 1-3 ldmg, it it possible to deal no ldmg at all, and not trigger EE. Also dont forget that splitshoot+gmp+chain+quillrain gets a significant dmg reduction...so 1-7 ldmg on equip will fast end up in 0-2 ldmg. €btw its more effective to trigger EE with cold dmg only in my kind of build. The ring with the lighningdmg i wear fits only to well to not wear it. Colddmg also dos not deal "1-x", and can not get nullified that easy.
