Minimal change of tree and gear and you get:

12 Skeletons 500K each, or 6 million damage
10 Zombies 25K damage each, or 25K damage, 27K health each
4 Carnage Chieftains, 80K health each, doesn't really die
20K energy shield

Much easier to cap resistance, much easier to get Hatred + Skitterbot + Flesh and Stone (or even Discipline, although I prefer Flesh and Stone myself).

No I do not believe this set up is stronger than Herald of Agony, just playing it for a change of pace.

I'm not sure why your dps is so much higher than mine @_@. i think i configured something wrong.

your dps is pretty much the same, you have vaal summon skeletons selected for a start, putting it to normal summon skeletons doubles it pretty much. then add ruthless, add 18% shock, add flasks and you are at about 500k. swap curse for poachers mark or add a way to get frenzy via spectres and they're at 685k dps

can get to almost 800k with a +1 ammy and a +2 wand and the same tree as hitman adds a tiny bit of dps and about 1.1kES

interesting.. i did try running pride, dread banner, summon skitterbots, and discipline but felt that hatred with EE did more dmg. I also have a 15% pride reduced mana res memory vault. my +2 skin of the lords doesn't have a green slot for impale but i do have a watcher's with initimidate on hit when using pride. i guess i could swap to my +1 skin and try out with impale gem
