same here im paying like 118 HP for my cyclone with extra melee and add fire

this change made me remove it in favor of cleave a better skill

123 life regen and 114HP for using the skill, with 12% life leech,
I don't feel a thing, but I do hear lots of people saying the mana cost is too high and turning it to blood magic kills(not me though)

such a terrible change reducing the travel distance

the skill was awesome and full of potential just the way it was

weak move from the devs to do a skill rework with less than two weeks worth of testing

next week if the new melee support gems are even remotely effective, this skill will be abandoned by everyone as you have turned it into garbage
the only problems with the skill is that

-it desyncs like crazy
-stops spinning randomly as of 0.10.4 Patch
I wonder why some people feel the need to post some L2P post in a skill feedback thread...
I'd like to see a forum feature to ignore some users, an ignore list...

well... I just discovered one thing, use your "Attack in place" key when you use Cyclone, you won't stop spinning even if you target an enemy :)

it makes the whole thing a lot better ^^

*remove this change... the skill should be an "all commited" skill, now it just costs allot, desynchs, and get you in problems!

it really made me consider stop playing my duelist (that i loved before this change)

but don't get me wrong here, the skill is damage wise buffed, thats great!, but thew new feel of it whit the high cost is reallllllly risky if you happen to exidently click on a monster.
i really don't care that its "more usable on 1 target" i got double strike for single targets.



Totally agree with Nivius here. Personally I'm not liking the change as the amount of mana (life if on BM) spent for the distance travelled just feels wrong. The skill before was absolutely fine in my oppinion, as long as you knew what you were doing (which should be obvious). Furthermore, for some reason the life on hit support gem stat doesnt cross over properly now. The gem is meant to give my 22 life per enemy hit with supported attack, but cyclone is now reporting only 9 life per hit. So when taking that all into account its almost not worth using, especially when you combine it with Blood Rage.
My suggestiong would be to keep the DPS change that was brought in as that works quite well, and reduce the distance travelled to two-thirds of what it was pre 0.10.4 (an increase of a third of what it is now post patch). This way it reflects better on the amount of mana/life spent and still allows for that degree of control for those players that need it.

that's because damage effectiveness is now applied to LoH. Cyclone has 40% damage effectiveness (that's per hit).
