Jesus fucking necroing christ...year old thread, as far as i remember there is a timer on alt f4ing and has been for a while now so you won't instantly log out.

not done it personally so i don't know for sure but i am pretty sure there is a timer, to the point of people actually using the log out button because its quicker...there have been plenty of threads crying about HC deaths because alt f4 didn't work.

Is ther eno way for the Alt + F4 keystrokes to be detected by the client before closing?

personally i loved ultima online's 15 minute timer. you would have to find a safe spot to hide in the world, even in town! or find an inn to instantly safely log off.

that made pvp fun and a nightmare.

were not really a multiuser rpg world, its really hack n slash.
