On the patch, I'm excited to restart my marauder so I can't wait until tomorrow. I do feel that like in D2, once you get to the higher difficulty melee is gimped compared to range because you can naturally kite. Regardless, its not fun to me unless I can jump in with an axe or two.

Can't wait to play this game. Even if I don't get a beta key and only play the stress test I know I'm going to love this!

re: Brutus vs Butcher: You know what made the Butcher so damn scary? HE WAS FAST. For a fat bastard with a cleaver, you couldn't kite him that easily because he moved just as fast as you, and at that point in the game you had absolutely no means of freezing or slowing his relentless ass.

There was only one thing you could do, in fact. Grin and Bear it.

re patch: LOVE the idea of certain keystones getting support gem emulation. But since you can level gems but not nodes, does this mean the fully-powered gem will be inevitably stronger than its keystone counterpart? If so, does the fact that a keystone affects all skills equipped rather than just a linked one offset this?

Can some1 tell me in details what means to have my char moved to Legacy from Default? I read somewhere that my char will keep his lvl/items/stash things anything is that true? and I can continue play there like I did till now? what about the differences between Legacy & Default? ppl with old chars at Legacy will continue to get patch updates? is there any difference? Enlighten me plz some1.

Characters are typically moved to Legacy Leagues when major changes are made to the item system. All existing characters and their items are moved to the Legacy Leagues. You can continue to play your characters there just like normal. Patches will be applied to Legacy Leagues just like the rest of the game but they may unbalance or brake old items or systems. You cannot create new characters in Legacy League. GGG does not want any balance feedback from characters in Legacy League.

It's encouraged that most people move on and make new characters in the new leagues. You'll see that after a few days the Legacy Leagues will be very empty.

Aha, thx for the clarification tpapp157 now something else the new chars we r going to make when the stress test start r they going to be wiped(moved to Legacy League) also when open beta start?
What about open beta? r we going to keep our characters when Open Beta go live?

Stop watching harry potter and such,nobody can predict future,up till few days ago we did not even know about this legacy transfer...

I can't wait to try this game out tomorrow been waiting for months for a beta key and never got one finally get to play this game.
