I'm getting really jumpy/erratic health. One minute I'm dodging everything (or getting hit for barely any hp loss), and then boom, I'm almost dead. I don't have his exact build, but it's close enough to where I can make a comparison. I'm thinking I need more armor a la Iron Reflexes.

Perhaps, this is an overall effect of the new patch rather than something specific to this build.

I think on one of the videos he mentions that evasion will save you from reflect
while armor won't.
Having seen all of the videos this kind of character needs a completely different
playstyle than most of archers have in this game.

Sure, I'm running a whole lot, just like before. It's not as if I haven't played this character before.

I'm just wondering if anyone else notices even more erratic HP jumps than before the patch with shadow crit archers.

I havnt played this character since the patch, but from testing evasion elsewhere yes I do find it extremely streaky and frustrating as a defense.

Generally I don't rely on it to defend me though ^ ^

Can you update this for newest patch?

this thing will get raped in 74+ maps

no capped resists, no armor, low hp, crappy evasion build without enfeeble or blind

As a relative newcomer to POE, I've found the shadow elemental archer most appealing, but can't really seem to find an updated spec.

Is there any viable spec outthere?
