I don't get how your DPS is so high. Gankstaboo gets more damage nodes, has way more insane gear, and wears an Alpha's Howl and still only does 17k dps?

edit: NVM I see that you're using added fire instead of life leech. How would you do maps without any life leech on your gear? The HP Regen without a kaom's heart isn't very high either.

I'm a lvl 87 HC RoA Marauder.

I'm playing like almost exactly your build by coincidence and ask myself how you can deal 21k dps? it seems impossible for me. my gear is as good as yours but still ... with the gems in gear like they are linked below i have 13k dps ... when i replace life leech with added fire dmg (20% ofc) i get up to 16,1k ... tell me the secret bro :P

I got a quick question about tree. Most of RoA Build wont take life regen node(2x0.4%) next to Golem's blood.

Is there a particular reason behind this to get 2x8% life node instead 2x0.4% regen?

i did naturaly took em early to compensate BM with my main skill to be able to use it without going down too quick. I not quite sure if I did math right, lets say you have 6k life giving 228 life/sec with 3.8% regen (Golem blood, Troll blood and 2x0.4%)

it would take 7600 to keep same ratio (228life/sec) without these 2 regen node, doubt 2x8% give 1600 when u at 6k life.

Maybe later on when your life pool begin to be a bit stronger, you wont need as many regen, that s my guess for not taking thoses 2 regen node...

Right, won't work if you run 4 percentage auras off mana, but one would think giving up vitality would be worth NOT spending ~400 life per second attacking?

When I first saw this build, I goofed with roa and conc effect on another toon, and saw how powerful it was, and thought 'hrm, this could make a pretty nice item find character'...so I rolled up a new toon.

Currently level 83, running this mod of this build:

I've only run maps up to 71 so far (solo), but have been doing so with 101% IQ and 168% IR on 80% of those maps without a problem, and haven't run into any mods I can't do yet. For ele weakness maps, I switch to a tri-res belt, for no-regen maps I swap to slitherpunch (wurm's works too...or both if being cautious).

7100 life, 400/s life regen, 70/s mana regen, and 2% life and 2% mana leech from default gear. I run 7 auras, 4 off BM/Covenant switch (anger/wrath/grace/clarity) and 3 on mana (purity/determination/hatred)...leaves 140 mana left over in the bulb. 83% resist all (85 when purity reaches max). I'm at 90% DR with 3 end charges/armor flask...still goofing around with endur cry/decoy totem, trying to determine if I like the face-tank style or the gather-around-totem style better.

I haven't been able to 6-link yet, so my current 5-link dps is:

RoA/Faster/Conc/IQ/IR - 5k dps, 25 mana cost

Swapping WED for IQ, I'm at 7800 dps with 42 mana cost...this is where I'll be when I 6-link.

So far, I find these numbers quite effective, considering 101% IQ and 168% IR, and the 400 life 70 mana regen + 2% LL and ML seem to be more than enough (I'm SC, but haven't died since a lvl 72 desync) to not run ML or LL gems. My dps does go up a good bit when switching to dps gear, but haven't found a need for it yet. I'll also get a decent boost when my gems max and I get a 20Q faster attacks.

I guess my question is, will this be viable going forward into 71+ maps? Is 8k dps (+ static blows) enough for end game solo/duo play? I expect to be around 10k at lvl 85, is that enough? Or will I need to transition to blood magic play?
