A watchers eye with adds cold damage + increased cold or cold penetration would be ideal ofc.

Where is the source of phys damage coming from though? Am I missingsomething blatant?

I hate to pull the wiki but: "Hatred casts an aura that provides bonus cold damage based on the physical damage of the caster and their allies" and the skill text also agrees with this.

Aside from the % increased cold damage I dont see where Hatred gets the raw phys to convert from?

Sorry if I am being dumb - just trying to learn.
is there any way to reduce the lag/freeze when shooting big packs in incursion?

We are using the Devotos only for the Dexterity and the Movement Speed? Attack speed doesn't affect Winter Orb or does it?

Because i was thinking to use a helmet with hypothermia for the 40% more damage vs chilled enemies as a pseude 5link on the Vaal Blade Vortex setup.

I got this one for 9c and it has life and resis, too:

Its not a bad idea but wont be as viable end game. Devotos also gives 10% reduced phys damage, chaos res, and way more armor and evasion

Its not a bad idea but wont be as viable end game. Devotos also gives 10% reduced phys damage, chaos res, and way more armor and evasion

As far as i know the reduced phys damage is outgoing, so it won't affect us. I don't have that much currency so maybe i'll try it out, because it will be easier like this to cap my resis.

Uh afaik devoto's reduces the damage you deal, not the one you take. Devoto's is good because of the big dex and movement speed mostly.
so I was wondering is this the best setup for the crafted weapon in 3.6?


if i get the 20% elemental as extra chaos damage then I craft those


1P>46-50% increased Spell Damage +Gain 4% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage.....1 Ex
2P>Gain 6-7% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Dmg.........4 Vaal
3S>Can have multi - 2ex
4S>11-13% increased Cast Speed +10% chance to gain Arcane Surge on kill....4 C
5S>4-5% chance to deal Double Damage.............1 Div

or was there some changes?

The updated Hatred gem is now:
You and nearby allies gain (16-25)% of Physical Damage as Extra Cold Damage
You and nearby allies deal (14-18)% more Cold Damage

The Physical conversion is useless yes. But the 2nd part of the gem is quite good for a cold caster build. For me its a solid dps increase over a herald + spider combo.

I did some experimenting, but unless I am missing some %reduced reserved nodes somewhere, I do not have enough unreserved mana to channel a full 12 stacks on orb.
