9.7 Auradin-Summoner [Dual-curse Templar Build]
" The reduction to % mana reserve auras is possible though skill tree special nodes ("reduced % mana reserve"), currently maxing at total 20%. This reduction is multiplicative, ex. if u have 40% mana reserved aura and have taken all the special nodes (for 20% reduction for % reduction auras), u will have total 40% * (1.00 - 0.20) = 32% mana reserved from this aura. Please check out Mark's posts above, as he explains in detail how mana cost reduction works on auras. [EDIT: while the calculations should be fine, please note that i forgot to take into account the reduction from support gem] Last edited by strldr1#4032 on Mar 20, 2012, 11:46:40 PM

No. Here's what i'm referring to:

Actually u r right. I will correct a few numeric values in previous posts.
Keep in mind though, that aura % reserved reduction applies multiplicatively and that has been tested and confirmed. The max. reduction for % reserved auras is currently 20% from nodes + a high lvl mana cost reduction gem (about 20-25%), so it must be a total of 40-45% cost reduction for % reserve auras. Now, having under consideration that all % reserved auras in sum need: 40+40+40+40+30=190% mana reserved, so u need a 52% cost reduction in order this amount to drop from 190% to 99%, in order to maintain all the % reserved auras at the same time. |
