Haste
So, when does this get fixed ?
It shouldn't be that hard to make it scale, at least... Build of the week #2 : http://tinyurl.com/ce75gf4

" Yea, i concur. Many patches has past already but the very much needed aura balance issues seems like have already forgotton after the totems implemented. And this skill is the most sucky one to be found in the universe undoubtedly. "This is too good for you, very powerful ! You want - You take"

Been using this all day... it sucks that it is still 10%... I'll try to find an attack speed support gem and get back to you on this.
Edit: A faster attacks support gem linked with haste does not provide additional attack speed. I just traded for one and tested it out... too bad lol Last edited by Halfaddict#4367 on Jul 16, 2012, 4:08:57 PM

definitely needs either movement speed, more attack speed for the mana reserved or less mana reserved

totally agree!
This aura is the worst in game at the moment... Ok there are "reduced Mana cost/reservation" passives, but do I really want to spend 2 or more points on increased mana and another 2-3 points to reduced mana reserved only to make this 10% IAS aura viable? Beside that these mana reservation passives are not really easy to get... It costs me more than 350 Mana (high mana ranged build) only for 10% IAS. There are some passive skills wich give even more IAS with only 1 point and are more easy to get. In comparison with other auras: with 350 Mana I can use evasion-, energyshield- and mana regeneration aura at the same time or fire + lightning dmg aura plus mana rgeneration. |

" Agreed with any of these suggestions. Also, I'd say Vitality is a bit worse than Haste right now, but only a little bit. |

This aura is so very way off balance.
IAS builds already suffer from lack of mana, as they rely on more / weaker attacks, which leads to greater mana costs per second. Losing 40% of one's mana pool for any boost to IAS is not worth it. It could be 100% more attack speed, and then maybe 40% mana reserved would be justifiable. But even then -- attack twice as fast, lose mana twice as fast. Devolving Wilds

The most unbalanced aura I've ever seen considering that leveling up this skill does NOT increase attack speed.
If that's the case, then the mana percentage reserved should be far lower, like that of Tempest Shield or even at 20%. For Ranger build tips, tactics, and critiques, visit this thread:

I agree that for 40% mana reserved this aura is underpowered. Either reduce the reserved amount, or, what I would prefer, add 10% movement speed on top of the 10% ias.
Disregard witches, aquire currency.

I'd actually like to hear GGG's response as to what's so special about this aura that warrants the huge 40% mana reservation. For example, Hatred gains +% every level and it's 30% reservation. The +% per level totally warrants the 30% reservation. But 10% constant atk speed? I don't even level this gem, let alone use it because of its unwarranted high cost for low benefit. If you guys say it's too powerful cus of its dual cast/atk benefits, then why not just make 2 different auras, one for casting speed and one for attack speed? Make them like 25% reservation each or even 30% with scaling +% per gem level. So, what gives, GGG?
