Great stuff, except that passive skill confirm., dosn't quite fit with the whole PoE feel of an ruthless world where bad decisions have consequences.
If ppl press wrong its their fault, they should just pay for it and learn.

Are you dumb or stupid?

If PoE changes the passive tree, how is that someone making a bad decision????

He was talking about the confirmation upon taking a passive skill so... I guess this question would apply to you? :D

Misclicking while trying to drag the tree, and accidentally spending that new skillpoint, isn't a "bad decision," it's a simple mistake. Having skills be permanent and require orbs or quest rewards to refund is an example of a system that encourages and rewards proper planning, while potentially punishing hasty decisions and poor planning. Having a system that forces you spend orbs or quest rewards to refund the skill that you accidentally assigned a point to while simply attempting to navigate the tree is just a bad user interface.

I've never accidentally assigned a skill point, but I could see how it can happen, and I think having to simply click "yes" or "no" to confirm the assignment is an easy and unobtrusive solution to the problem.

I'm also excited about everything else this patch is promising! Not only a new skill, but the reworking and/or buffing of five of the older skills that need a bit of love? I'm 100% on board with that, and I can't wait to see which ones are on the table!
I hope skills that cause major desync will be addressed in the next patch. Skills like Whirling Blades or Flicker strike

Atm these skills are unusable.

once tweaking has been finished.

Never stop.
Change shifts dynamics in interesting ways. To cease advancing is a terrible thing from which one might as well be dead.
Dont listen to the hateful criticisms of those who disagree with your tweaks. In reality they just unconsciously fear change itself. They rationalize this feeling of fear as hate towards what scares them. How i pity the small minded.
But enough chit chat. Get to work and give us another level of firepower to crush our enemies.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it
I hope that next meele skill will be aoe for daggers/claw users, because now its not worth to make meele shadow. LS is not aoe attack and making spell/attack hybrid is not a good option for shadow (lack of elemental nodes easily accessible by shadows)
Cannot wait! Uber excited!
