10 Year D2 Player's Suggestion Thread

Oh I see, it's just a bit confusing as why you would put that in a suggestion thread :P
Sweeping Maid
I personaly liked the barbarians Find item skill, ripping open corpses to see whats what. Although, it was pretty useless over all it was still a very satisfying animation lol.
As far as D3 is consirned, I was really diapointed with thier class choices and thier art direction. Saaad panda.
I check the timer
Everyday it makes me cry

Same here. Why did the devs of D3 throw away the knight/paladin class?? That was my favourite in D1 and D2, and why did they shift towards the cartooney graphics I will never understand. Oh, well, luckily we have PoE coming soon! :)
Hmm Auras would be lovely however ... Just different colors? We could at least make some glowish aura that looks like radiance from the player with some sort of a pattern or floating particles and stuff ... Like necromancer would have a dark aura that appears like like a radiant dark flame with skeletons or spirits floating around or near it , Regenerative aura would have + marks or somekind of replenish effect . Mana regeneration some kind of a blue water themed aura. and also had a more major animation / effect to the one emitting the aura that you could see where it comes from - For future pvp / smarter AI uses.

And about the graphic part, The game actually looks good compared to a beta (Closed Beta) ofcourse they'll improve it later on. Just imagine how it'll look as an example in the screenshot you brought ... they need to improve the ground slightly so that characters be AI or Players won't look like they're floating on it or walking on a thick layer of glass - a lil more rendering and a lil mist here and there and it'll look superb. - that and smoothing up the animations a bit.
I personally feel that the confines of making non pre-rendered games graphically cause a huge issue with the amount of detail people can put in a game that is expected to have a decent to wide range of appeal.

The gameplay is always the core for me but I see a lot of people that only care about how somethings looks these days.

I think PoE so far looks amazing and every update their seem to be improvements out the wazoo.

I remember seeing the original trailers thinking "this looks a little dated" and when I got into the beta every patch seemed to make everything look a little grittier, a little more detailed, and overall more polished.

I think by the time this game is done it will be one of the greatest additions to the ARPG genre their is. I just hope the playerbase doesn't obtain the tools to run it into the ground as they have so many other games.

i agree the D3 looks too cartoonish but what do you expect this is wow developers these ppl probably take too much lsd and they need rainbows :)

Then you definitely need to check on some new actual ingame footage - its WAY darker then the community would pretend to be a "wow copypaste"

otherwise may you check this and add a overlay filter to your graphic driver (while running D3)
