[3.6 Video Guide] Volatile Dead Elementalist (or Inquisitor) [HC/SC/Uber Izaro/Shaper]

How do you feel about taking Beacon of Ruin instead of Paragon of Calamity and Liege of Primordial? I don't think reflect immunity is a big deal since the rework and guaranted shock is pretty nice dmg boost. It would also be nice to proc heralds in softcore version.

Can you proc Conflux from Shaper of Desolation if you have Elemental Focus linked? If not, would Desecrate proc it?

Maybe switching Elemental Focus to that new Combustion Support would be viable option since it also reduces fire resistance now? Ignite with all those buffs might make up for some lost dmg too.

Buffed Celestial Judgement / Breath of Flames would most probably be a bit better than taking some of the weak nodes like Ash, Frost and Storm or that 8% ele dmg between Elementalist and Discipline and Training or some other stuff near templar start.

I think that it comes down to a matter of personal taste. The promoted design in the guide is the way I would personally play it which reflects back to my playstyle, obviously :)

Conflux procs an ailment which elemental focus prevents. Desecrate doesn't have an hit, it's a degen effect on the ground which makes it not proc the Conflux.

I think the best way to check the differences would be to dive in to some Path of Building and change around ascendancy choices & support gems.

Due to the buffs to CJ & Breath I believe I will have to take another spin at this build in PoB to guarantee it's of top quality as soon as I find time tbh, thank you for noting that!

This is my first league and I'm trying to figure everything out. I see some other builds using 2 Poet's Pen for volatile dead instead of your setup, can you give a brief rundown on the main differences?

Both performs rather equally tbh.
VD/Unearth combo is better for bosses though!

I'v try this biuld i'm 55 level right now damage is good for now but its to squishy and lifesteal is to low to sustain any normal dmg on me ,
I dont use any totems ,but i dont like idea to use totems for defence it takes time if i fast foward i will die for shure this will make verry difficult to level this charcter i was think for zombies as shield but i dont have spare space for gems problem here is we take ascendancy with heralds improvemnt if we dont use all heralds why to use this ascendancy at fist place ? Some how cast speed is to little i think to.
This biuld like this is made now is hard to play even whean its not me first hero for this delve legue i have leveling items and i die on some of boses at act 6 they dont give you time to cast your skills and i cant leach enoff , do good parts its if they give me time i crush them for matter of seconds but at big level it will be not so overpowered for shure and strong attack without any defene is not good .
I actually like the skill in another biuld RF with this balls but its super expensive one thats why i give a shot of this one without RF.
In me conclusion you need to improve the skill and make it work like in RF(they use special unique that cast anything is linked on it the skill is inta and they use switch body to teleport at target corpse that gives mobility and great dmg)damge its self is not so big as yours on single ball but actually i think its more powerfull becose he hit like 4-5 times in sek 3balss per cast it make like 12-15 balls in second normal dmg thear is like 9k-15k it may get better with more expensive items but he have nad RF Skill thear ufcorse who boost dmg and deals dmg to .

Oh sorry for long comment , i just wanted to say to ppl i dont find easy to play such a biuld and need great skill and knowlge of the game to play so sqiushy charcter if you dont know all mobs and boses and how to dodge and counter you will die alot .
