"Veteran" Beta timer
ah well, it's been "fun" watching the beta timer go down slower and slower for the past 2 days. But i'm somewhat tired of looking at it, with each random pick, still a 99% chance of seeing an exact join-visited date-player getting chosen.
I don't really have any hopes left of being selected before i go abroad |

why get all newbies that joined on 10th august there keys and we not i dont belive it >,<
sry for my bad english |

Sorry for not searching but what defines a "Veteran"?
Postcount? Registration-date? Who got the biggest chance to get a beta-key, "Veteran" or a "Random"? The Duelist or The Templar, that is the question. Last edited by Sajkadelikk#5115 on Aug 13, 2011, 9:43:56 AM

" A veteran appears to be anybody that joined more than 2 weeks ago and posts dont seem to make any difference. You are classed as a vet, so you have a higher chance with the vet timer than the random timer. Seeing as there is only a 2 week differnce though, it depends on how many new members have signed up since then. TBH you have a slightly higher chance with the vet than the random timer but i'm starting to think it doesn't make a lot of difference. |

" I think being a veteran requires at least some amount of posts, though I saw one veteran get in with just 6 posts. I don't think those posts need to be old, though. It would be fun to reward those who created their accounts in 2010 with a "hardcore veteran" countdown meter ;) |

i am fired up for this hot action
your plan is puny

It would appear that the veteran timer does not look for a post before the beta start-date.
One account on the veteran timer only has six posts - all on August 12th - yet still received a beta invite due to his account being older than two weeks or so. So, post dates don't matter. Account age does. |
