General Discussion - "Veteran" Beta timer - Forum

It would make sense to give priority to the people by their sign up dates or for providing an insightful piece of feedback that the devs found of some use because getting into beta isn't just about being the first to play the game it's about wanting to help provide a better quality game at the time of release... Giving someone priority for any other reason than that just pisses off a lot of long time awaiters. +1... I waited for this game long long time, but i did create this account only 1 month ago. Now i'm not veteran, and timer is like 15 min for 1 person... 90% of posts on this forum is spam: "i cant wait... i'm so excited...". But i'm just sad and angry i and last few day i spend on playing Torchlight because i don't believe that in the end i get this key... I just hope that i'm wrong... It's getting a little frustrating now seeing so called Veterans that joined the forum a month ago getting in. I've been following this game for almost a year but haven't posted much at all. Maybe the join date should be taken into account more than it is? I would prefer the timer to be stopped and have it that every 3 hours a block of people would get keys all at once. At least that way I could go get on with my life. That timer is like a drug lol, i've been watching it since it started with very little sleep. Well, just for your information I got chosen to the beta as a veteran Been there for a month (with few days), posted a lot before Beta. I understand the frustration of actively following the game without forum posting, but I think it's still a nice idea to implement. After all, it's tangible evidence of interest. Grinding Gear Games has no way of knowing the amount of time I have or have not put into reading up on the game. I look forward to a chance to test and in any way assist in the final stages of the game, but if not, I'll be playing when it makes it's way to open/live.
