"Veteran" Beta timer

Don't know if I'm veteran or not but I'm glad to see they keep updating their invite criteria for the beta. Cmon invite!

As much as I'm looking forward to playing and would be playing 'right now' if I could... yesterday I saw a person who joined yesterday with zero posts get a beta key.

After seeing that, I knew the timer was completely random, however, in the interest of fairness, veterans of the site should have first crack at the game.

So, although it doesn't affect me since I'm not a veteran here by any account, thumbs up for the dual timers!

Unfortunately for me, this merely diminishes my chances of getting a key. It's fair though, people who've been following this game for a long time deserve it.

They kept the random name generator going, for how long? I don't know, but all hope is not yet lost.

Do what I do... keep your fingers crossed. lol.

Keeping fingers crossed is all you really can do..take it from someone whose seen plenty of blood shed from beta testing games since I was 15, I've been in Dark age of Camelot closed beta, World Of Warcraft Closed beta, some other none named ones because they failed to make it lol... cough*Auto assault*cough...and parabellam{sp}, etc.

i think the new timer sucks it's just an excuse to increase the time from 13 minutes to 30

It's not like GGG is evil and made it like it's now - 4 invites per hour - to laugh at their future players / customers. There is obviously enough players already ingame, using up most of server resources / providing feedback on Beta forum.

Why invite much more and risk having server down / Beta forum overloaded???

I've seen ppl getting chosen for the veteran timer that have joined around the same date i did!!! Hope i get picked lol!

Signed up on this site before anyone here and the veteran timer hasn't even passed me one. Feels Bad.
